ASPTT Nancy Water-Polo is a French water polo team from Nancy. It is a section of the ASPTT Nancy multisports club.
Its women's team dominated the French Championship between 1994 and 2008 with thirteen titles. [1] In subsequent years it has been second to Olympic Nice, but it still remains a regular in the European Cup. [2]
Tibor Benedek was a Hungarian professional water polo player and coach, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. He played on the gold medal squads at the 2000 Summer Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympics and 2008 Summer Olympics. Benedek also competed at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics, where the Hungarian team placed 6th and 4th, respectively.
Dejan Savić is a Serbian professional water polo coach and former player.
Aleksandar Ćirić is a Serbian retired water polo player and current head coach of European powerhouse Olympiacos Women's Water Polo Team, who played for two Olympic bronze medal squads, one for FR Yugoslavia at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, the other for Serbia at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, and one Olympic silver medal squad for Serbia and Montenegro at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. His most notable achievements during his club career are: winning the Euroleague with VK Bečej in 2000, when he gained the title of MVP of competition; and four LEN Cups, three with Brescia and one with VK Radnički Kragujevac.
Water polo has been part of the Summer Olympics program since the second games, in 1900. A women's water polo tournament was introduced for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Hungary has been the most successful country in men's tournament, while the United States is the only team to win multiple times at the women's tournament since its introduction. Italy was the first to win both the men's and women's water polo tournaments.
The Australia national women's water polo team represents Australia in women's international water polo competitions and is controlled by Water Polo Australia. It was one of the most successful women's water polo teams in the world. It is currently organised into the Asia/Oceania regional group.

István Görgényi is a Hungarian former water polo player who won a silver medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics and coached the Australian women's national water polo team to the gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
The Championnat de France de water-polo féminin is the premier championship for women's water polo clubs in France. First held in 1983, it is currently contested by seven teams. It is currently granted two spots in the Champions Cup and two in the LEN Trophy.
Albi Marssac Tarn Football ASPTT is a French women's football team based in Albi. The club reached Division 2 Féminine in 2000 for the first time in their history, however they were relegated the following season. After several seasons in the regional divisions of the Ligue de Midi-Pyrénées, the club was promoted again to Division 2 in 2007 after a rapid promotion from the third division. They won Division 2 in the 2014 – 2015 season and got a historic promotion to Division 2 Féminine.
