"A Century of Love" was the Moldovan entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, composed by Oleg Baraliuc and Vica Demici and sung in English by Geta Burlacu.
On the night of the semi-final of the contest the song was performed 4th, following Estonia's Kreisiraadio with "Leto svet" and preceding San Marino's Miodio with "Complice". The song received 36 points, placing 12th of 19 songs competing and failing to make the final, the first time Moldova was absent from the final in its Eurovision history.
Moldova has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 16 times, debuting in 2005. The country's best result is a third-place finish for SunStroke Project in 2017, with their song "Hey, Mamma!".
Moldova participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kyiv, Ukraine. This was Moldova's first entry in the Contest. The entry was selected through a national final, organised by the Moldovan broadcaster TeleRadio-Moldova (TRM). Zdob și Zdub represented Moldova with the song "Boonika bate doba", which qualified from the semi-final and went on to place 6th in the final, scoring 148 points. This would remain Moldova's best result until 2017.

Nelea Ciobanu-Mărgineanu, known professionally as Nelly Ciobanu is a Moldovan singer. Ciobanu graduated from music college of the city of Tiraspol and later made her debut on stage in 1993, with her brother as part of duo "Master Dinamit". She represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with the song "Hora din Moldova", placing 14th.

Pavel Parfeni, known professionally as Pasha Parfeny, is a Moldovan musician, singer and songwriter. He represented Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan, where he placed 11th with his song "Lăutar". He was formerly known for being the lead singer of the Moldovan band SunStroke Project.
Aliona Munteanu, better known as Aliona Moon, is a Moldovan singer. In 2012, she was a backing vocalist for Pasha Parfeny who represented Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. Aliona was selected to represent her country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö with the song "O Mie" composed by Pasha Parfeny. Aliona finished in fourth place in the first semi-final and 11th place in the Eurovision 2013 final. In 2014, she competed on The Voice of Romania where she finished in fourth place in the final.
"O mie" is a song recorded by Moldovan singer Aliona Moon. Moon was backing vocalist for Pasha Parfeny the year before at Eurovision and coincidentally, the song was composed by Pasha, himself. The lyrics of the song were written by Iuliana Scutaru. It was Moldova's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013, held in Malmö, Sweden. The song competed in the first semi-final on 14 May 2013 for a spot in the final on 18 May 2013. The song qualified for the Grand Final, where it was the third song performed and ended in 11th place out of 26 songs, receiving 71 points.
"I Want Your Love" is a song performed by Ukrainian singer Eduard Romanyuta. The song represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Initially a huge favourite amongst the fans, it fails to qualify in the Grand Final.
"Falling Stars" is a song performed by Moldovan singer Lidia Isac. The song, written by Gabriel Alares, Sebastian Lestapier, Ellen Berg and Leonid Gutkin, represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. The song was released as a digital download on 28 March 2016 via Ragoza Music.
"Hey, Mamma!" is a song written and performed by Moldovan group SunStroke Project. The song was released as a digital download on 6 February 2017 through Ragoza Music. It represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
Moldova originally planned to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. However, due to 2019-20 pandemic of Coronavirus, the contest was cancelled.
