Musical style & lyrical themes

Matty Sievers from killyourstereo.com wrote in his review of The God Delusion that it contains aggressive and technically demanding deathcore. The drums are fast and played precisely, while the bass is usually quite deep, but mostly inaudible. The electric guitars are also aggressive and fast, the vocals are guttural, aggressive and varied and were partly recorded on multiple tracks and provided with additional effects. The music is kept quite straightforward. The album is quite short, with a running time of around half an hour, and the lyrics are about Satan rising from hell to take over the world. [25] Wessel also classified metalnexus.net as deathcore. The music is aggressive and contains some very high vocals. The lyrics deal with the human condition, political dilemmas that we currently find ourselves in and the damage that people are causing to society and the planet. [26]
