Aversions Crown is an Australian deathcore band formed in 2009 in Brisbane, Queensland. [1] The band is know for their fast and technical deathcore style and for their lyrical themes of aliens invading the earth and the human impact on the environment. [2] [3] They are currently signed to Nuclear Blast. [4] The band has released four studio albums with their latest being Hell Will Come For Us All, released on June 12, 2020, through Nuclear Blast. [5]
They along with Thy Art is Murder, The Red Shore, A Night in Texas and To the Grave and are noted for being one of the most prominent Australian deathcore artists.
The band independently released their self-titled EP in 2009. [6] This was then followed by their debut studio album titled Servitude, which was released in December 2011, it too was self-released. [7] In January 2013, the band released a single titled "Overseer", [8] the band released another single titled "Hollow Planet" on September 15, 2013. [9] The band would support Thy Art is Murder's Hate Across Australia Tour 2013 with Cattle Decapitation and King Parrot. [10] They would also appear in Australia's Vans Warped Tour 2013. [11] The band would sign to Nuclear Blast in 2014 and released their second studio album titled Tyrant in November 2014, [12] the album was produced by Thy Art is Murder guitarist Andy Marsh and mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis (who has previously worked with bands such as All That Remains and Carnifex). [13]
In January 2015, the band announced that vocalist Colin Jeffs has left the band and that Mark Poida has joined as the band's new vocalist. [14] In June 2015, the band released a standalone single titled "Parasites". [15] In support of the Tyrant album, the band toured in europe in early 2016 with support from A Night in Texas and Rings of Saturn. [16] In early 2016, the band released the single "Erebus". [17] On November 25, 2016, the band announced their third studio album, Xenocide, which was released on January 20, 2017, and showcased the single "Ophiophagy". [18] On January 11, 2017, the band released a music video for the track "Prismatic Abyss". [19] In June 2018, the band released another standalone single titled "The Breeding Process". [20] The band toured in North America in the summer of 2018 with The Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Shadow of Intent. [21]
Vocalist Mark Poida left the band in early 2019, the band recruited Tyler Miller (vocalist of Knoxville-based band The Guild) as their new vocalist. [22] On March 13, 2020, the band announced their fourth studio album, Hell Will Come For Us All, which was released on June 12, 2020, and mixed and mastered by Fit for an Autopsy guitarist Will Putney, the first single titled "The Soil" was released. [23] The second single titled "Born In The Gutter" was released on May 8, 2020. [24] The band released a music video for the track "Paradigm" on June 12, 2020, coinciding with the album release. [25] In September 2023, Thy Art is Murder recruited Tyler Miller as their new vocalist to replace the fired CJ McMahon, and subsequently re-recorded the vocal tracks on Godlike with Miller. [26]

Rings of Saturn is an American deathcore band from the Bay Area, California. The band was formed in 2009 and was originally just a studio project. However, after gaining a wide popularity and signing to Unique Leader Records, the band formed a full line-up and became a full-time touring band. Rings of Saturn's music features a highly technical style, heavily influenced by themes of alien life and outer space. They have released six full-length albums, with their third, Lugal Ki En, released in 2014 and peaking at 126 on the American Billboard 200 chart while their fourth, Ultu Ulla was released in 2017 and peaked at 76 on the Billboard 200, making it the band's highest peak to date. Gidim was released in October 2019. The band's self-titled instrumental album was released in June 2022.
Hate is the second studio album by Australian deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder. The album was released on 19 October 2012, through Halfcut Records, but was reissued on 5 April 2013, through Nuclear Blast after the band signed to the label. The album debuted at no. 35 on the ARIA Charts, making Thy Art Is Murder the first extreme metal band ever to break the top 40. The album also reached no. 1 on AIR and peaked at 31 on the Top Heatseekers chart. On 31 March 2013, Metal Hammer began streaming the album in full, in anticipation of the Nuclear Blast re-release. It is the band's only album with guitarist Tom Brown, as well as the first album on which current guitarist Sean Delander plays bass.
Alissa White-Gluz is a Canadian singer, best known as the lead vocalist of the Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, and former lead vocalist and founding member of the Canadian metalcore band The Agonist. Her vocal style includes both growling and clean vocals (singing). Although primarily associated with melodic death metal and metalcore, she has appeared as a guest vocalist for power metal, symphonic metal and deathcore bands, notably Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf, and has performed live with Nightwish and Tarja Turunen.

The band consists of guitarists Pat Sheridan, Will Putney and Tim Howley, drummer Josean Orta, vocalist Joe Badolato, and bassist Peter "Blue" Spinazola. They are currently signed to Nuclear Blast and have released seven studio albums since formation.
Dark Sermon was an American blackened death metal band from Tampa, Florida. The band was formed in 2009 under the name "In Reference to a Sinking Ship" and later changed their name to "Dark Sermon" in 2012. The band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2017.

Shadow of Intent is an American deathcore band from Connecticut. They formed in 2013 as a Halo-themed studio project by Ben Duerr and Chris Wiseman. The band's name is a reference to a Covenant ship in the Halo series. They are not signed to a label and have released all their albums independently. They have released four studio albums to date, along with two instrumental versions of previous releases, and a deluxe album. Their fourth studio album, Elegy, was released independently on January 14, 2022. Shadow of Intent has been described as one of the "big four" bands of symphonic deathcore, alongside Lorna Shore, Mental Cruelty, and A Wake in Providence.
Godlike is the sixth studio album by Australian deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder. Originally scheduled for release on 15 September 2023, the album was released on 22 September 2023 through the band's independent label Human Warfare and was produced by Will Putney. This is the band's first album without longtime vocalist Chris "CJ" McMahon, who was fired by the band one day before the album release. It is also the band's first album with new vocalist Tyler Miller.
A Wake in Providence is an American deathcore band formed in 2010 in Staten Island, NYC. The band currently consists of vocalist Adam Mercer, guitarist/vocalist D'Andre Tyre, guitarist Jordan Felion and drummer Jessie McEnneny. The band has released four studio albums with their latest being I Write to You, My Darling Decay, released on July 26, 2024, through Unique Leader Records. The band has also released two EPs. Lorna Shore vocalist Will Ramos was the band's former vocalist from 2016 to 2018. Shadow of Intent vocalist Ben Duerr was a guest in two tracks by A Wake in Providence. Those three bands and Mental Cruelty make up what is considered the "big four" of the new wave of symphonic deathcore.
A Night in Texas is an Australian deathcore band formed in 2009 in Cairns, Queensland, however has been based in Brisbane since 2013. The band's lineup currently consists of vocalist Sam Cameron, guitarists Cory Judd and Tommy Williams, bassist David Finlay and drummer Zak Borg.
