Alexander Bagonza, better known by his stage name A Pass (and formerly APassKiller), is a Ugandan musician and songwriter. He was born in Uganda on 21 December 1989. [2] A Pass states that his stage name comes from Alexander his last name and Pass from his picky nickname Percy. [3] [4]
The second born of seven siblings attended Kampala Kindergarten for his nursery school, Nakasero Primary School for his primary, Mary Land and St Lawrence, Cream land for secondary school. [2] [5]
A Pass started music as any normal church goer but he developed his talent more at school. He later went to studio in 2003 for his first studio session but he didn't record the song but only managed to get an instrumental. A Pass later on returned to studio after a few years when he met a friend called eddy who encouraged him to sing more professionally. A Pass formed a strong musical relationship with Dave Dash who by then was known as A Dash and the two did a couple of songs together.
In 2011, he met video director Lukyamuzi Bashir who noticed his talent at South Syde in a studio session. Bashir began taking him to various studios around the country and introducing him to different influential people in the music industry. In 2012, BADI built a recording studio in Makindye called Badi Musik Production. BADI went on to shoot videos for A Pass in 2013, which added a steady kick-off to his career. A Pass is currently signed to and managed by LLolypop Entertainment.
A Pass has worked with a number of producers in the Reggae and Dancehall genre including Alex from Jamaica (A.I.P), Black Spyda from Jamaica, Nessim (Badi Musik), Baru (DustVille), Timo (Badi Musik), Just Jose (Swangz Avenue), Benon Mugumbya, (Swangz Avenue), Nash (Swangz Avenue), The Late Mac Elvis (South Syde), Keyner (K Records), Samurae (Talent 256), Don (DustVille) and several others. A Pass states he gets inspiration from music including dancehall, reggae, Rnb, hip hop and afro pop from artistes like Michael Jackson, Lucky Dude, UB40 among others.
A Pass has collaborated with various musicians including, A.Y. (musician), Goodlyfe from Uganda and Cinderella Sanyu among others. [6] A Pass has written songs for Bebe Cool [7] and co-written 'Love I Feel' with Michael Ross. [8] He has recently released a single Wuuyo the official soundtrack to Uganda movie Bala Bala Sese produced by Usama Mukwaya. [9] A pass is commonly known to work with friend and producer Nessim and video producer Lukyamuzi Bashir under the record label Badi Musik.

Bebe Cool is a reggae and ragga musician from Uganda. He started his career around 1997 in Nairobi, Kenya, but moved back to his native country a few years later. Bebe Cool was one of the first artists affiliated with Ogopa DJs, a production house and record label in Kenya.
Radio & Weasel was a Ugandan music Duo that performed under their record label Goodlyfe Crew a Ugandan music group with lead performers being singers Moses Radio and [Weasel Manizo]. Moses Radio provided smooth RnB vocals while Weasel's contribution is a fusion of reggae, ragga and dancehall vibes. Because of their prominence, Moses Radio and Weasel formed their own duo known as Radio and Weasel. The Lead singer Moses and Vocalist Radio died on 1 February 2018 from brain injuries after an assault by a bouncer at a club in Entebbe. Radio's attacker threw him down about 3 metres (9.8 ft) onto a concrete pavement which resulted in massive intracranial hemorrhage.
Usama "Osam" Nyanzi Mukwaya is a Ugandan screenwriter, film director, producer, actor and former television host. He has received several accolades, including nominations for an Ama Award and three Amvca Awards.
Lukyamuzi Bashir (born 7 December 1986) is a Ugandan music director, film director and producer. He directed Blu*3's video Where you are featuring Goodlyfe Crew, Iryn Namubiru's Bona Obasinga, and Vumilia by Chameleone. He also directed Goodlyfe Crew's music videos Talk n Talk, This is how we do it. He is popularly known to work with his friend and artist A Pass.

Alex Julius Kwesigabo, better known by his stage name Flex D'Paper, is a Ugandan rapper and songwriter born and raised in Kampala. Starting off his music career, Flex D'Paper was part of the high school rap group, The Rapaholix, which he started with friends, Dasper Cosine and later joined by Apass as an affiliate with whom the trio put out a mix tape, The Eviction Notice that included chart topping singles like "Burning", "Party Life" and "Follow Me" which topped countdowns in Uganda such as NTV and Sanyu FM. Flex D'Paper was part of the 2014 UG Cypher including the finest Ugandan rappers: Navio, Keko, Big Tril, Don MC, AirporTaxi rappers St. Nelly Sade, GNL Zamba, DJ Global, JB, The Mith, Ruyonga, and Atlas.

She has shared a stage with top African stars like Habib Koite, Navio, Joanita Kawalya of Afrigo Band, and Juliana Kanyomozi. and many other African stars.
Laura Kahunde is a Ugandan performing artist and Reality T.V Show Host. She Hosts Our Perfect Wedding Uganda, a reality show that follows Ugandan couples from the wedding preparations to the actual wedding day events. She also currently plays Jussy on Kyaddala, a pan-African story told through the lives of university friends exploring sexual reproductive health, rights and challenges, among other social issues and; Catherine Musoke on Chapters series that shows on pearl Magic Prime. She portrayed the character Angella Byekwaso on the famous NTV Second Chance She is known to have starred in Mariam Ndagire's films Hearts in Pieces alongside Abby Mukiibi Nkaaga, Dear mum and most recently my husbands wife Where We Belong, and Dear Mum with Mariam Ndagire herself. She also starred in the Usama Mukwaya's Hello that won her the best actress in the 2011 MNFPAC students awards. She recently appeared in a Henry Ssali film Bullion with her sister Juliana Kanyomozi She is confirmed to work with Usama Mukwaya again on his upcoming film Love Faces alongside Moses Kiboneka Jr. and Patriq Nkakalukanyi and a Douglas Dubois Sebamala film Black Glove.
Sheebah Karungi, professional also known as Queen Karma and Sheebah, is a Ugandan musician, dancer, actress and feminist activist. She debuted her acting career in Queen of Katwe as Shakira. After quitting Obsessions, a dance group she joined in 2006, she started making music and later rose to recognition upon the release of her hit single "Ice Cream". In 2014, she released her debut project Ice Cream, a five-track EP which did well commercially and led her to win back-to-back HiPipo Music Awards Best Female Artist in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. She also won the Artist of the Year award twice, in 2017, 2018, and 2019 at the HiPipo Music Awards. In 2024, she was appointed vice president of the Uganda National Musician Federation assisting Eddy Kenzo who is the president of the federation.
Comedy Store Uganda, is a weekly live stand-up comedy show that was created in 2016 by comedian Alex Muhangi, who is also the host since the show’s inception. The show is recorded on Wednesdays at UMA Multi-Purpose Hall Lugogo in Kampala and airs Fridays on NTV Uganda.
