Abandanak (Persian : ابندانك‎, also Romanized as Ābandānak; also known as Ābandāk)^[1] is a village in Kheyrud Kenar Rural District, in the Central District of Nowshahr County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 874, in 227 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Kheyrud Kenar Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Nowshahr County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 32,041, in 8,567 families. The rural district has 27 villages.
