Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards 2018 was held on 7 December 2018 and marked the sixth edition of the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs). [1] [2]

The event, under the theme Fashion is Power, was hosted by Kenyan radio and television personalities Anita Nderu and Tracy Wanjiru, and featured fashion showcases from Nigeria's Mai Atafo, South Africa's David Tlale and Laduma Ngoxokolo, Uganda's Anita Beryl of Beryl Couture, Alex Alecool of Alecool Clothing and Kkoolo. Spice Diana, Lydia Jazmine and Lilian Mbabazi performed their music with Lilian paying a tribute to her former spouse, the late Mowzey Radio. [3] [4] [5]

Nominations started on August 27, 2018, and closed on 27 September. The list of nominees was then released at a cocktail party on 27 October 2018 held at the Serena Hotel in Kampala and voting was opened in late November. [6] [7] [8]

According to a Ugandan publicist at Bryan Morel Publications, Lilian's music style is neo-soul associated with R&B Band tendencies. She was a member of Blu*3. In 2014, she was one of the featured artists in the second season of "Coke Studio Africa".

Alex Julius Kwesigabo, better known by his stage name Flex D'Paper, is a Ugandan rapper and songwriter born and raised in Kampala. Starting off his music career, Flex D'Paper was part of the high school rap group, The Rapaholix, which he started with friends, Dasper Cosine and later joined by Apass as an affiliate with whom the trio put out a mix tape, The Eviction Notice that included chart topping singles like "Burning", "Party Life" and "Follow Me" which topped countdowns in Uganda such as NTV and Sanyu FM. Flex D'Paper was part of the 2014 UG Cypher including the finest Ugandan rappers: Navio, Keko, Big Tril, Don MC, AirporTaxi rappers St. Nelly Sade, GNL Zamba, DJ Global, JB, The Mith, Ruyonga, and Atlas.

Zziwa Kennedy Katebalirwe is a professional Ugandan celebrity hair stylist and dresser. He is the CEO of Hair by Zziwa, a hair studio in Uganda.

The Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards 2017 was held on 8 December 2017 at the Kampala Serena Hotel themed the Fashion Takeover, celebrating the business and entrepreneurial potential of the fashion industry in Africa. The awards were presented by the Abryanz franchise with the aim of honoring and celebrating the excellence of Africa's growing fashion industry. The event was hosted by Rachel K and Nana Akua and produced by South Africas's David Tlale.

Anita Beryl is a Ugandan Fashion Designer, Couturier and Entrepreneur. She is the creative director of Beryl Qouture, a Ugandan fashion house. The Ugandan magazine, Satisfashion Uganda, named Beryl one of "The 40 Movers and Shakers of 2016", in December 2016.

The Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards 2016 is the fourth edition of the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards and it was held on 9 December 2016 at the Kampala Serena Hotel under the theme Dress to Inspire. Vimbai Mutinhiri and Idris Sultan hosted the awarding event while Hellen Lukoma and Zimbabwe's Tinashe Venge hosted the red carpet event.

Santa Anzo is a Ugandan model, fashionista, fashion designer and businesswoman, who is the founder, chief fashion designer and managing director of Arapapa Fashion House, based in Kampala, Uganda's capital city. She is also the founder and President of Uganda International Fashion Week, an annual fashion exhibition.

Joram Muzira alias Muzira Joram Job(born in 1987) is a Ugandan Fashion entrepreneur, model scout and coach, show director, voice over artist, and a TV personality. He founded JMM that signed international models that include Aamito stacie Lagum and Patricia Akello.
