Modest Mouse is an American rock band formed in 1992 in Issaquah, Washington, and currently based in Portland, Oregon. The founding members are lead singer/guitarist Isaac Brock, drummer Jeremiah Green, and bassist Eric Judy. Strongly influenced by Pavement, Pixies, XTC, and Talking Heads, the band rehearsed, rearranged, and recorded demos for almost two years before finally signing with small-town indie label K Records and releasing numerous singles.

Rock n Roll is the fourth studio album by Ryan Adams, released on November 4, 2003. The album features the hit single "So Alive", and includes guest appearances by Adams's then girlfriend, actress Parker Posey, former Hole and Smashing Pumpkins bass player Melissa Auf der Maur, and Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong. Adams describes the album as "the most rock thing I have ever done," and notes that in spite of the album's mixed reception, recording it was "fun as fuck."
Talk is the fourteenth studio album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released on 21 March 1994 by Victory Music. Recording began in late 1992 with the line-up of Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, Chris Squire, Alan White and Tony Kaye. Keyboardist Rick Wakeman was to be involved in the project before contractual problems led to his withdrawal. The album was recorded onto hard disk at Rabin's home studio using an early version of the digital audio workstation software Digital Performer.
Legacy: The Absolute Best is a two-disc compilation album by American rock band the Doors. Released in 2003, it includes the uncensored versions of both "Break On Through " and "The End". Also included is a previously unreleased studio version of Morrison's epic poetry piece "Celebration of the Lizard," a rehearsal outtake from the band's Waiting for the Sun sessions.
Rabbit Fur Coat is an album by Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley, featuring The Watson Twins. It was released in the United States on January 24, 2006, by Team Love. Lewis has described the album as a "sort of soul record". The album contains a cover of the Traveling Wilburys song "Handle With Care", featuring Ben Gibbard, Conor Oberst and M. Ward.
Fireproof is Christian band Pillar's second full-length album and their most successful, having sold over 300,000 copies. It was released in at least three different versions including a Remixed version and a limited Special Edition that came with Pillar's All Day Every Day DVD and a slipcase. The track listings from the original and the reissue are very similar, rearranging the track listing a little and retitling the tracks "Just 2 Get By" to "Just to Get By" and "Further" to "Further From Myself". The title track, "Fireproof", was featured in the baseball video game MLB 2005 and on its soundtrack CD release. This is the first record to feature current guitarist Noah Henson.

Tomorrow Starts Today is the 2006 debut studio album by Canadian alternative rock band Mobile. It was released on April 18, 2006, in Canada and August 21, 2007, in the United States. Four singles were released from the album: "Montreal Calling" (2005), "Out of My Head" (2006), "See Right Through Me" (2006), and "Dusting Down the Stars" (2007). The first two singles were released before the album's release; as well, "Montreal Calling" was available in late 2005 as a track on MuchMusic's Big Shiny Tunes 10 and was also featured on the soundtrack of the EA Sports game NHL 07 and FIFA 07 with "New York Minute".

Big Bad World is the fifth studio album by American rock band Plain White T's. It was released on September 23, 2008, by Hollywood Records. The creation of this album was a follow up album to Every Second Counts in hopes of breaking free from being the "Hey There Delilah" Band. To promote the album, the Plain White T's launched a few webisodes, which together form the series Meet Me in California. The majority of the album was written while on the road, in planes, in hotels, and on buses.

Live at the Matrix 1967 is a double live album by the American rock band the Doors. It was recorded at The Matrix in San Francisco on March 7 and 10, 1967 by club co-owner Peter Abram. The recording is notable as one of the earliest live recordings of the band known to exist, played to a mostly empty venue. By March 1967, the Doors had recorded only their debut album and "Light My Fire" had yet to be released as a single, and they were still relatively unknown outside Southern California.

They have released six full-length albums, two EPs, and several splits/compilations. The group is currently signed to Hopeless Records. Their name originates from a paper that lead vocalist, Dan 'Soupy' Campbell, read that was written by one of his after-school educators titled "The Wonder Years."
