Abu Shenan-e Olya (Persian : ابوشنان عليا‎, also Romanized as Abū Shenān-e ‘Olyā; also known as Abū Shenān-e Bālā)^[1] is a village in Azadeh Rural District, Moshrageh District, Ramshir County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its existence was noted, but its population was not reported.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Azadeh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Moshrageh District, Ramshir County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,225, in 1,864 families. The rural district has 32 villages.

Moshrageh District is a district (bakhsh) in Ramshir County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 13,216, in 2,766 families. The District has one city Moshrageh. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Azadeh Rural District and Moshrageh Rural District.
