Acantholipes canofusca is a species of moth in the family Erebidae first described by Hermann Heinrich Hacker and Aidas Saldaitis in 2010. [1] It is found on Socotra, an island off Yemen. [2]
Socotra or Saqatri is an island of the Republic of Yemen in the Indian Ocean. Lying between the Guardafui Channel and the Arabian Sea and near major shipping routes, Socotra is the largest of the four islands in the Socotra archipelago.
