Acceleration Team Mexico is the Mexican team of Formula Acceleration 1, an international racing series. At the inaugural round in Portimao, they entered two cars - one run by the RC Motorsport team, [1] owned by Rocco Peduzzi and E. Catella, [2] and the other run by NBC Motorsport. [1]

The team announced Luis Michael Dörrbecker and Picho Toledano as their drivers for the inaugural Formula Acceleration 1 round in Portimao. [1] Dörrbecker was entered in the RC Motorsport-run car and Toledano in the NBC Motorsport-run car. However, Toledano did not run in any sessions and withdrew from the weekend due to electrical system problems. [3]

The 2009 Formula Renault 3.5 Series was the fifth Formula Renault 3.5 Series season. It began on 18 April at the Circuit de Catalunya and finished on 25 October at the brand-new Ciudad del Motor de Aragón in Alcañiz. It was the fifth season of the Renault-backed single-seater category. International DracoRacing driver Bertrand Baguette won the championship by a comfortable margin, having dominated the second half of the season. His team won their respective championship, ahead of Carlin Motorsport.
Acceleration 2014 was a multi-day festival combining top class car and bike racing with live music and other entertainment. The festival was organised by the International Sport Racing Association (ISRA), based in the Netherlands, and was held six times in 2014, starting 25–27 April in Portimao, Portugal and ending 17–19 October in Assen, Netherlands. The various racing competitions were Formula Acceleration 1 (FA1), the MW-V6 Pickup Series, the Legend SuperCup (LSC), the European Stock 1000 Series and the European Stock 600 Series. Competing drivers in one or more classes each drove a vehicle representing his or her country of origin.
The 2014 Formula Acceleration 1 season was a formula racing series that started over 25–27 April in Portimao, Portugal and ended over 17–19 October at the TT Circuit Assen, Netherlands. The series featured 12 teams that represented the nations in which they were founded. Their drivers did not have that nationality per sé, but the car represented the flag. This concept was similar to the one used in the former A1 Grand Prix series, whose vehicles were used in FA1. To attract young, yet serious, racing drivers, the 2014 winning driver/team was promised the full budget for the 2015 FA1 season and a test day in a GP2 Series car in Abu Dhabi.

The festival is organised by the International Sport Racing Association (ISRA), based in the Netherlands, and will be held six times in 2014, starting 25–27 April in Portimao, Portugal and ending 17–19 October in Assen, Netherlands. The various racing competitions are Formula Acceleration 1 (FA1), the MW-V6 Pickup Series, the Legend SuperCup (LSC), the European Stock 1000 Series and the European Stock 600 Series. However, for this round the ACC 600 and 1000 classes were replaced by the OW Cup, whose drivers were not eligible to score points for the Acceleration championship. As for the other classes, every driver entering Acceleration 2014 is eligible for points in the drivers' championship as well as the nations' championship. As for music and entertainment, David Hasselhoff is the host of "Celebrate the 80's and the 90's with The Hoff", a dance party featuring 2 Unlimited, Haddaway, and others. Saturday evenings are filled with performances of international DJs.
