The Mexico national Baseball5 team represents Mexico in international Baseball5 competitions.
Mexico qualified as hosts of the inaugural Baseball5 World Cup, where they finished fifth with a 4–4 record. [2] [3] The team participated in the historic first game of tournament, defeating Lithuania 5–3 and 4–2. [4] Mexico finished the tournament fifth with a 4–4 record. Marián Castro was selected as part of the championship's All Star Team. [5]
Mexico finished second at the 2024 Baseball5 Pan American Championship held in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. The Mexican squad defeated Venezuela in the semifinal 2 sets to 1, but lost in the final against Cuba, 0–2. [6] [7]

The WBSC Americas, formerly known as Pan American Baseball Confederation, is the governing body of baseball and softball within the Americas.
The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) is the world governing body for the sports of baseball, softball, and Baseball5. It was established in 2013 by the merger of the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) and International Softball Federation (ISF). Under the WBSC's organizational structure, the IBAF and ISF now serve as the confederation's baseball and softball divisions, respectively. Each division is governed by an executive committee, while the WBSC is governed by an executive board.
Baseball5 is a simplified variation of baseball and softball which is governed at the international level alongside those sports by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC).
The Baseball5 European Championship is the main championship tournament between national Baseball5 teams in Europe, governed by the WBSC Europe. The tournament serves as qualifier for the Baseball5 World Cup, with the top two teams qualifying for the world championship.
