The Australia national Baseball5 team represents Australia in international Baseball5 competitions.
Australia was scheduled to take part in the inaugural Baseball5 World Cup held in Mexico City in November 2022. [2] However, the team did not participate and was replaced by Hong Kong less than one month before the beginning of the tournament. [3]
Australia made its Baseball5 World Cup debut in 2024 in Hong Kong. [4] Trials were held in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland to determine the squad that would play in the World Cup. [5] Australia debuted with two defeats on the first day of the tournament against Mexico and Japan. The team finished last in Group B in the Opening Round, losing their remaining games against China, Tunisia and France.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) is the world governing body for the sports of baseball, softball, and Baseball5. It was established in 2013 by the merger of the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) and International Softball Federation (ISF). Under the WBSC's organizational structure, the IBAF and ISF now serve as the confederation's baseball and softball divisions, respectively. Each division is governed by an executive committee, while the WBSC is governed by an executive board.
The Baseball5 World Cup is a mixed-gender Baseball5 (B5) world championship that occurs every two years, with the first edition held in 2022 in Mexico and contested by 12 countries. It is governed by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC).

The 2023 Youth Baseball5 World Cup was the first edition of the Youth Baseball5 World Cup, a mixed-gender Baseball5 tournament held in 2023 from 10–15 October. 12 countries participated, with Cuba beating France in the final.

The Baseball5 African Championship is the main Baseball5 tournament in Africa, governed by WBSC Africa. The winners and runners-up qualify to the Baseball5 World Cup.
The 2024 Baseball5 Pan American Championship was the first edition of the Baseball5 Pan American Championship, a Baseball5 tournament organized by WBSC Americas. The championship was held from 27 to 30 June 2024, in the Domo Bolivariano in Barquisimeto, Venezuela and was contested between four national teams.
The Baseball5 Pan American Championship is the main Baseball5 tournament in the Americas, governed by WBSC Americas. The top three teams qualify to the Baseball5 World Cup.
