Adolf Rieder (born 30 January 1915, date of death unknown) was a Swiss wrestler. He competed in the men's Greco-Roman welterweight at the 1936 Summer Olympics. [1]

Josef "Josl" Rieder was an Austrian alpine skier. He competed at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo, but was disqualified in the downhill event and failed to finish the slalom. He lit the Olympic Flame at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck. At the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 1958, he won three medals with a gold in slalom and silvers in the giant slalom and combination events.

Prince Gustaf Adolf, Duke of Västerbotten was a Swedish prince who for most of his life was second in the line of succession to the Swedish throne. Tobias Rieder is a German professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for Växjö Lakers of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Rieder was originally selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the fourth round, 114th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, and made his NHL debut in 2014–15 with the Arizona Coyotes. He has also previously played with the Los Angeles Kings, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames and Buffalo Sabres.

Danielle Rieder is a Swiss former competitive figure skater. She placed in the top ten at four European Championships, won two medals at the International St. Gervais and three Swiss national titles. Rieder was selected to compete at two Winter Olympics. She withdrew from the 1976 event in Innsbruck following the compulsory figures, in which she placed 16th, but completed all segments at the 1980 event in Lake Placid, New York, and finished 14th overall.

Monika Rieder is a Swiss sport shooter. She has been selected to compete for Switzerland in pistol shooting at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and has attained top eight finishes in a major international competition, spanning the ISSF World Cup series and the European Championships. Rieder trains under Polish-born head coach and four-time Olympian Krzysztof Kucharczyk for the national team, while shooting at Bubikon Pistol Shooting Range on the outskirts of her hometown Rüti.

Adolf Weinacker was an American racewalker. He competed in the men's 50 kilometres walk at the 1948, 1952 and the 1956 Summer Olympics. He died on September 11, 2023, at the age of 94.
