Adrian Darnell White (born April 6, 1964) is an American former college and professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. White played college football for the University of Florida, and thereafter, he played professionally for the New York Giants, Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots of the NFL. He became an assistant coach after his playing career ended.
White was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1964. [1] He attended Orange Park High School [2] where he played high school football for the Orange Park Raiders.
White began his college career at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, and he played football for the Southern Illinois Salukis for a single season in 1983. He transferred to the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida where he was a walk-on for coach Charlie Pell's Florida Gators football team from 1984 to 1986. [3] White was a three-year starter for the Gators, and a key member of the Gators' defense during the 1984 and 1985 seasons, when the Gators posted identical 9–1–1 overall win–loss records and led the Southeastern Conference (SEC) with best-in-the-SEC records of 5–0–1 and 5–1. He was a first-team All-SEC selection and a second-team All-American as a senior in 1986. [3] White was also a two-year Florida Gators track and field letterman as a sprinter and anchored the Gators' 4x100-meter relay team that included Olympian Dennis Mitchell.
White graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice in 1993, and later earned a master's degree in education from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey.
The New York Giants selected White in the second round (fifty-fifth overall pick) in the 1987 NFL Draft. [4] He played for the Giants from 1987 to 1991. [5] White finished his NFL playing career with single-season stints with the Green Bay Packers (1992) and the New England Patriots (1993). [5] During his seven-season NFL career, White played in 70 regular season games, started five of them, and had four interceptions. [5]
White was the assistant coach for defensive quality control promoted to assistant defensive backs coach for the Buffalo Bills, and his responsibilities included opposition scouting and self-scouting, as well as working with the Bills' defensive backs corps. [6] He was one of three assistants retained from the previous coaching staff by the Bills' new head coach, Chan Gailey, having previously been a Bills assistant for two years. [6] He was with the Bills from 2008 to 2012, when he, along with the entire Bills coaching staff, was dismissed on December 31, 2012. [7]
Andra Raynard Davis [pronounced André] is a former American football linebacker who played ten seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Florida and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He also played for the Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills.
Michael Rene Mularkey is a former American football coach and tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Florida, and was drafted in the ninth round of the 1983 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers and lasted until the final round of cuts. Mularkey then signed with the Minnesota Vikings with whom he played for six seasons before playing another three with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jevon Kearse, nicknamed "the Freak", is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end for eleven seasons in the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1990s and 2000s. Kearse played college football for the Florida Gators, earning All-American honors and was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 1998.

Wilber Buddyhia Marshall is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for five teams from 1984 until 1995. Marshall played college football for the Florida Gators, was twice recognized as a consensus All-American, and is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
Michael Shane Matthews is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for all or part of fourteen seasons during the 1990s and 2000s. He played college football for the Florida Gators, where he was both a second-team All-American and SEC player of the year in 1991 and 1992. Thereafter, he played professionally for the Chicago Bears, Washington Redskins, and four other NFL teams. Since retiring as a player, Matthews has lived near his college alma mater in North Central Florida, where he has hosted a sports talk radio program and coached high school football. In 2017, Matthews pled guilty to having unwittingly played a small part in a large health care fraud organized by former Florida teammate Monty Grow.
Gelindo "Lindy" Infante was an American football player and coach, who became an offensive coordinator and head coach in both the National Football League (NFL) and the United States Football League (USFL). Infante played college football for the University of Florida, and later served as the head coach of the Jacksonville Bulls of the USFL, and the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts of the NFL.
Alex James Brown is an American former football defensive end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He played college football for the University of Florida, and was a two-time All-American. The Chicago Bears picked Brown in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL draft, and he also played for the New Orleans Saints.
Guss T'Mar Scott is an American former college and professional football player was a safety in the National Football League (NFL) for two seasons during the early 2000s. Scott played college football for the University of Florida, and thereafter, he played professionally for the New England Patriots and Houston Texans of the NFL.
Lomas Brown Jr. is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for 18 seasons in the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s. Brown played college football for the Florida Gators, receiving consensus All-American honors. A first-round pick in the 1985 NFL Draft, he played professionally for the Detroit Lions and four other NFL teams. He is currently a color analyst for Lions radio broadcasts on WXYT 97.1 The Ticket, as well as a commentator and analyst for ESPN and other television and radio networks.
Chad Wolfegang Jackson is an American former college and professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons. He played college football for the University of Florida. Jackson was selected by the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL) in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft, and also played for the Denver Broncos of the NFL, and the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League (UFL).
Marquand Alexander Manuel is an American football coach and former safety who is the safeties coach for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons and as an assistant coach for the Seattle Seahawks. After playing college football for the University of Florida, he was selected in the sixth round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played for eight seasons in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, and Detroit Lions. He was the defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons from 2017 to 2018.
Donald Gene "Babe" Chandler was an American professional football player who was a punter and placekicker for 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) in the 1950s and 1960s. Chandler played college football for the Florida Gators, and thereafter, he played professionally for the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers of the NFL.
