Age of Vice is a novel by Deepti Kapoor which was published on January 3, 2023 by HarperCollins. [1]
The novel is set in Delhi. It begins with a car crash caused by a wealthy man in New Delhi in 2004 which killed five people who sleeping on the road. Ajay, the man driving, was sent to jail and then he was attacked. [2]
According to Book Marks, the book received a "positive" consensus, based on ten critics: five "rave", three "positive", one "mixed", and one "pan". [3] In the March-April 2023 issue Bookmarks , the book was rated three out of five. The magazine's critical summary reads: "The dexterous, cinematic narrative relies on longwinded stories within stories, which not only mirrors Delhi’s complexity but also loses steam toward the end, leaving some threads untied".
