Ahmed Rahmy (born 1894, date of death unknown) was an Egyptian wrestler. [1] He competed at the 1920 and 1924 Summer Olympics. [2]
The Maldives competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, from 25 July to 9 August 1992. The delegation's participation in the Barcelona Olympics marked the Maldives' second appearance at the Summer Olympics since their debut at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. Seven athletes competed across two sports; Ahmed Shageef, Mohamed Amir, Hussain Riyaz, Hussein Haleem and Aminath Rishtha in track and field, and Ahmed Imthiyaz and Mohamed Rasheed in swimming. None of the track or swimming athletes advanced past the first round in their events, and no Maldivian has won a medal in any events.
Egypt competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. 106 competitors, all men, took part in 65 events in 14 sports.
Dahomey sent three delegations to compete at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany from 26 August to 11 September 1972. This was the country's first appearance at a Summer Olympic Games. The delegation consisted of three people, a sprinter, Ibrahima Idrissou, who did not advance past the first heat, boxers Meriga Salou Seriki and Leopold Agbazo who both did not advance to the second round.

Six athletes competed across two sports; Mohamed Amir, Naseer Ismail, Hussain Riyaz, Ahmed Shageef and Yaznee Nasheeda in track and field, and Moosa Nazim in swimming. None of the track or swimming athletes advanced past the first round in their events, and no Maldivian has won a medal in any events. Ahmed Shageef bore the Maldives' flag during the parade of nations of the opening ceremony.
Ahmed Farid Abou-Shadi was an Egyptian sabre fencer who competed in the individual and team sabre events at the 1948 and 1952 Summer Olympics. He was born in Shibin Al Kawm, Al Minufiyah, Egypt. He competed at the age of 42 years, 246 days in 1952, and holds the record as the oldest Egyptian Olympic fencer. He also competed at the 1951 Mediterranean Games where he won a silver medal in the team sabre event.
Younes Ahmed is a former Qatari football goalkeeper. He played for both Al Rayyan and the Qatari national team. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
Ahmed Hamada Jassim is a Bahraini former hurdler who competed in the 1984 and in 1988 Summer Olympics and was the flag bearer for Bahrain in the 1988 Olympics opening ceremony.
