Aimee Nicole E. Fuller (born 21 July 1991) is a British slopestyle snowboarder who represented Great Britain at the 2014 Winter Olympics [1] and the 2018 Winter Olympics. [4]
Fuller was born in Farnborough, and grew up in nearby Keston. She moved to Washington D.C., USA, [3] in 2003 aged 12, attending the British School of Washington, but moved back to the UK at the age of 16 to live in Northern Ireland where she attended Sullivan Upper School in Holywood. [5] [6]
Fuller finished 5th in the 2017 World Rankings and 3rd in the World Cup Big Air Super Series Tour. British Champion 2017 Slopestyle and Big Air. 7th in the overall rankings 2013/14 . [7] She has competed at the X Games, finishing 6th in the Winter X Games in Europe, eighth in the Winter X Games XVII in 2013 and seventh in the Winter X Games XVIII in 2014. [2] [8] [9]
Fuller is a 2 X Olympian, competed for Great Britain at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. [10] In the women's slopestyle event she scored 39.00 on her first run and 44.50 on her second run during her heat to finish tenth and so did not qualify directly for the final. She then competed in the semi-finals of the competition scoring 33.75 on her first run and 37.50 on her second run to finish in ninth place, missing out on qualification for the finals and finishing in 17th position overall. [1] Following her elimination Fuller joined the BBC Sport commentary team for the final of her event as compatriot Jenny Jones won a bronze medal, the nation's first ever Olympic medal on snow. [11] Fuller and the other members of the commentary team – Ed Leigh and Tim Warwood – were criticised for their bias towards the British competitor, Jenny Jones, and a "deeply unprofessional display of commentary"; [11] the presenters also cheered when Jones' competitor, Anna Gasser, fell during her run. The incident drew more than 300 complaints. [12]
In April 2019 Fuller ran her first marathon, the Pyongyang Marathon in North Korea. [13]
Fuller took part in series five of Celebrity Hunted in 2023, alongside Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones. [14]
Torah Jane Bright is an Australian former professional snowboarder. She is Australia's most successful Winter Olympian, former Olympic gold and silver medalist, two time X Games gold medalist, three time US Open winner, two time Global Open Champion, three time World Superpipe Champion, former TTR World Champion and recipient of the Best Female Action Sports Athlete at the ESPY awards. In 2014 Bright became the first Olympic athlete to qualify for all three snowboarding disciplines; halfpipe, slopestyle and boarder-cross.
Cheryl Maas is a Dutch snowboarder, who competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, finishing 11th at the halfpipe. She also competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, finishing 20th in slopestyle and in the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang where she finished 23rd in slopestyle and 20th in big air. She started snowboarding in 1993. In 2004, she played in the snowboard movie Dropstitch.
Hannah Teter is an American snowboarder. She is an Olympic champion, having won the gold medal in the halfpipe at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy and silver at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. She has also won bronze at the 2005 FIS World Championships at Whistler, British Columbia, and has a total of six World Cup victories in her career. In January 2010, Teter was named to the US Team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. She won the silver medal in women's halfpipe at the Vancouver Games. Teter came in fourth at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Lindsey Jacobellis is an American snowboarder from Roxbury, Connecticut. The most decorated female snowboard cross athlete of all time, she dominated the sport for almost two decades as a five-time World Champion and ten-time X Games champion. In her Olympic debut at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Jacobellis won the silver medal in snowboard cross but was unable to medal at the next three Olympics until winning gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Jacobellis also won gold in mixed team snowboard cross at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
Jenny Jones is a British professional snowboarder who became the first Briton to win an Olympic medal in a snow event after winning bronze in slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Jamie Louise Anderson is an American professional snowboarder. She won the gold medal in the inaugural Women's Slopestyle Event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and repeated the feat at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, making her the first female snowboarder to win more than one Olympic gold medal. She has won gold medals in slopestyle at the Winter X Games in consecutive years in 2007/8 and 2012/3. She has 21 X Games medals and is the second most decorated athlete
Faye Gulini is a professional American snowboarder born in Salt Lake City, Utah. She competes for the US Snowboarding Team in the disciplines of snowboard cross, slopestyle, and halfpipe. She is a four-time Olympian.
Sébastien Toutant is a Canadian snowboarder. He is the Olympic gold medallist in men's big air snowboarding at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Toutant was twice the gold medal winner in slopestyle at the X Games in 2011 and 2013. He has also won two silver medals and a bronze in slopestyle and big air events at the X Games, bringing his total medals in the competition to five.
Mark Lee McMorris is a Canadian professional snowboarder who specializes in slopestyle and big air events. A three-time Olympic bronze medallist, he placed third in each of the 2014 Winter Olympics, 2018 Winter Olympics, and 2022 Winter Olympics in the slopestyle event. While filming for Transworld Snowboarding's "Park Sessions" video in March 2011, Mark became the first person to land a Backside Triple Cork 1440. More recently, on April 28, 2018, Mark landed the world's first Double Cork off a rail, the Front-Board Double Cork 1170, with a melancholy grab. Mark has also left his mark at X-Games and other events. In 2012 and 2013, Mark won back-to-back gold medals in Winter X Games in the slopestyle event. In 2023 he defended his Winter X Games gold medal in the men's slopestyle to set a record for the most Winter X Games medals with 22.
Spencer O’Brien is a Canadian snowboarder. She was born in Alert Bay, British Columbia, and is of Indigenous descent. She won the gold medal in slopestyle at the 2013 FIS Snowboarding World Championships.
James Woods is a British freestyle skier. He has won six medals at FIS World Cup and two medals at FIS World Championships
Maxence "Max" Parrot is a Canadian snowboarder. He is the reigning Olympic champion in slopestyle, winning gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics and also won a silver in the event at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Parrot has also won six gold medals at the Winter X Games and two gold medals at the Winter X Games Europe.

She won the gold medal in the women's slopestyle and silver in the big air at the 2022 Winter Olympics, becoming New Zealand's first gold medallist and first to win multiple medals at the Winter Olympics. She also won the bronze medal in the women's big air at the 2018 Winter Olympics, and won the women's slopestyle title at the 2019 World Championships.
