The Aion RT is a mid-size electric sedan produced by Chinese automobile manufacturer GAC Aion, a subsidiary of GAC Group.
The Aion RT was first revealed through images released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on September 15, 2024. [1] Pre-sale of the RT began shortly after on September 26 with a starting price of 119,800 yuan (US$17,100) and four model trims. [2]
Two different motors are offered with the RT; one outputting 150 kW (200 hp) and other with 165 kW (221 hp). Two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs are available; one with a power capacity of 55.1 kWh and another with a 68.1 kWh capacity with CLTC ranges of 520 km (320 mi) and 650 km (400 mi) respectively.

A subsidiary of GAC Group, it was established in 2017 as the GAC New Energy Automobile. Its current name was adopted in November 2020. It produces battery electric vehicles under the eponymous Aion brand and the premium Hyptec brand.
