Aktenge Keunimjaeva is an Uzbek freestyle wrestler. She is a three-time bronze medalist at the Asian Wrestling Championships. [2] [3] [4] [5] She is also a silver medalist at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey and a bronze medalist at the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. Keunimjaeva represented Uzbekistan at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. [6]
In 2019, Keunimjaeva competed in the women's freestyle 53 kg event at the World Wrestling Championships held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. [7] She was eliminated in her first match by Lianna Montero of Cuba. [7]
Keunimjaeva competed at the 2021 Asian Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. [8] She lost both her matches and she did not qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. [8]
In 2022, Keunimjaeva competed at the Yasar Dogu Tournament held in Istanbul, Turkey. [9] She won the silver medal in the 53 kg event at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey. She won one of the bronze medals in the women's 50 kg event at the 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. [13] She defeated Pooja Gehlot of India in her bronze medal match. [13]
Keunimjaeva competed at the 2024 Asian Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and she earned a quota place for Uzbekistan for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. Aisuluu Tynybekova is a Kyrgyz freestyle wrestler. She won the silver medal in the women's 62 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. She also competed in the women's 63 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics, the first woman to wrestle for Kyrgyzstan in the Olympics. A legal dispute threatened to prevent Tynybekova from competing in London, but the case was delayed until after the Games. Tynybekova was eliminated in the 1/8 finals by Henna Johansson.
