Alberto Fontana (born 14 June 1990), known professionally as Alberto Naska, is an Italian social media personality and racing driver. He has over 900,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, with content related to motorsports and racing.
Naska most recently competed in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series with the Italian team CAAL Racing. He got second place in the EuroNascar 2 category in 2022.
Alberto Naska was born in Turin, [2] in the Piedmont region, in 1990. In 2012, he graduated in 2012 at the Polytechnic University of Turin as computer engineer, and moved to Milan the next year where he opened a racing social network and worked as a videomaker. [3]
Naska debuted in 2006 as a virtual racer and won a championship in 2007 year.[ citation needed ] As a reward, he received the possibility of driving a Formula Renault 2000 Lite on track. In 2012, Naska took part at the Swiss racing reality show Make it Your Race , organized by Abarth and won the Abarth Benelux Trophy in 2013.[ citation needed ]
In 2018, Naska began his amateur motorcycle racing career in the Trofeo Motoestate in the Race Attack 1000 division. He ended his first season in 5th place, claiming three podiums in the process. [4]
The next season he stayed in the championship and after a run of five consecutive wins he claimed the title at the last round in Varano. [5]
In 2020, he switched to the Coppa Italia Senior Cup, but an ankle injury following an accident in the first round of Misano cut short his season and ended his motorcycle career.
After the accident that had compromised his motorcycle career, Naska decided to focus exclusively on car racing, where he has competed occasionally since 2018.
He competed in the Formula X Italian Series for Harp Racing in 2021, where he showed good pace winning three races, but a series of mechanical troubles during the first part of the season did not allow him to finish higher than second.
In 2021, he also raced in the Legend Cars Italia series where he ended up 2nd despite eight race wins and in the Smart EQ Cup where a difficult adaptation to the car and the electric power did not allow him to express at his best, finishing 19th.
In 2022, he announced he would race in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series [6] with the CAAL Racing's number 88 car for that season in the Euronascar 2 division. Naska finished his debut season with five wins and a 2nd place overall both in the rookie and general standings. [7] [8]
For the 2023 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season, Naska switched to the number 54, still with CAAL Racing. He raced in the Mitjet Italian Series, sharing car number 54 from GRT Motorsport with Ian Rocca. He also raced in the EuroLegend Cup, also with car number 54, with the Heroes Valley team. At the first round at Circuit Valencia, he finished 2nd in both Euro Series races behind Vladimiros Tziorzis. At the second round at Brands Hatch, he finished second in Race 1 behind Vladimiros Tziortzis and 3rd in Race 2 behind Vladimiros Tziortzis and Paul Jouffreau. At the third round at Autodromo Vallelunga, he won Race 1 in front of Paul Jouffreau and Gil Linster. Naska finished 2nd in Race 2 behind Jouffreau. At the fourth round at Autodrom Most, he ended up 14th in Race 1 and 1st in Race 2. At the fifth round at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, he took 2nd position in Race 1 and 15th in Race 2, making him 2nd in the championship 3 points behind Tziortzis. After two unsuccessful races at Circuit Zolder he ended the season in 6th, 57 points away from the lead, while his EuroNascar Pro teammate Gianmarco Ercoli won the championship with the number 54 car. He ended up 15th in Mitjet Italian Series championship, sharing car number 54 from GRT Motorsport with Ian Rocca (who ended up 31th). Naska also won the 2023 EuroLegend Cup championship.
In 2024, Naska raced in Formula X Italian Series's Championships, FX Pro, Lotus Cup Italy, and in Mitjet Italian Series. At the first two races at Mugello, he won Race 2 in Lotus Cup Italy, after concluding Race 1 in 2nd position. In FX Pro, he concluded Race 1 in 5th position, after having taken pole position. He took 2nd place in Race 2 because of grid inversion of the top-6. He concluded a sort-of-rainy Race 2 in 2nd position, losing the race at the last lap. After the disqualification of Patrik Fraboni, who concluded the race in 1st place at the beginning and whose car was found to not conform to technical regulations, Naska inherited the win in Race 2. At the second round, in Varano de Melegari, he ended Race 1 of FX Pro category with a win,and ended Race 2 in second place. In Lotus Cup Italy championship he won both races. At the third round at Circuito di Magione, he ended Race 1 of FX Pro category with a win, while he did not finish Race 2. In Lotus Cup Italy he ended Race 1 in P2 and Race 2 in P3. At the fourth round at Misano World Circuit, he ended Race 1 of FX Pro in sixth position, while Race 2 in second position. In Lotus Cup Italy he ended both races in second position.
In Mitjet Italian Series, his rivals include amongst others his friend Ian Rocca and EuroLegend Cup contender Davide Gaggianesi. At the first round at Circuit Paul Ricard, he ended Race 1 and 2 in P3, Race 3 in P2 and Race 4 in P6. At the second round at Autodromo Vallelunga he ended Race 1 in P1, Race 2 in P2, Race 3 in P3 and Race 4 in P2. At the third round at Autodromo di Pergusa, he ended both Race 1 and 2 in fourth position, Race 3 in seventh position and Race 4 in fifth position.
In 2016, Naska opened his YouTube channel, which through the years has reached over 900,000 followers. On his channel he makes videos about his racing career and other experiences outside motorsport. [9] In 2020, Naska published his autobiographical book Fino all'ultima curva. [10]
He is currently married with Sthefanny Vasquez, who he met in 2020 and married after 2 years on July 18th 2022. [11]

Alessandro Giuseppe "Alex" Caffi is an Italian racing driver, former Formula One driver, and team owner. He participated in 75 Grands Prix, debuting on 7 September 1986. In 2006 he raced in the inaugural season of the Grand Prix Masters formula for retired Formula One drivers. He currently serves as the team owner of NASCAR Whelen Euro Series team Academy Motorsport and had acted as an owner-driver during the team's previous guise as Alex Caffi Motorsport.
Borja García Menéndez is a Spanish racing driver. He last competed in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, having last driven for Alex Caffi Motorsport in a part-time effort in 2018. He was the 2004 Spanish Formula Three champion, and raced in the inaugural GP2 Series season.
Patrick Lemarié is a French auto racing driver born February 6, 1968, in Paris. He currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving the No. 5 car for Academy Motorsport in the EuroNASCAR PRO class having previously competed for FEED Vict Racing and DF1 Racing. The son of Jean Pierre Lemarié (1941–2016), he spent four years performing testing work for the British American Racing Formula One team but was never considered for a race seat due to his lack of experience. Lemarié's manager, Craig Pollock, hired him to drive for the new PK Racing Champ Car team in 2003. He scored two tenth-place finishes in the first two events but was replaced after six races for Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca expert Bryan Herta. Lemarié has also competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, American Le Mans series, Indy Lights, Toyota Atlantic and Formula 3000.
Ander Vilariño Facal is a Spanish auto racing driver that is currently competing in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving the No. 22 Chevrolet Camaro for DF1 Racing. Vilariño is one of the most successful drivers in NASCAR Whelen Euro Series history. He has won 3 titles and has 22 race wins in his career the most of any driver in the series.
Marc Goossens, nicknamed The Goose, is a Belgian professional racing driver that currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, priorly driving the No. 14 Chevrolet Camaro for SpeedHouse in the EuroNASCAR PRO class. He is now driving the No. 56 Chevrolet Camaro for CAAL Racing in the EuroNascar PRO class.

CAAL Racing is an Italian racing team based in Todi, Province of Perugia that currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. The team has won the Elite 1 championship twice in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series as well as winning the team championship five times in the defunct Superstars Series. The team priorly fielded the No. 54 Chevrolet Camaro for Gianmarco Ercoli and Luli del Castello, the No. 56 Chevrolet Camaro for Nicolò Rocca and Gil Linster, and the No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro for Max Lanza and Alberto "Naska" Fontana and is currently fielding the No. 54 Chevrolet Camaro for Gianmarco Ercoli and Alberto "Naska" Fontana, the No. 56 Chevrolet Camaro for Marc Goossens and Sven van Laere, and the No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro for Max Lanza and Roberto Benedetti.
The 2019 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series is the eleventh Racecar Euro Series season, and the seventh under the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series branding. Alon Day and Ulysse Delsaux entered the season as the defending champion in the Elite 1 and Elite 2 category respectively, however Delsaux will not defend his title as he will move up to Elite 1 for the 2019 season.
Frédéric Gabillon is a French professional racing driver that currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving the No. 3 Chevrolet SS for RDV Competition in the EuroNASCAR PRO class. He is a three-time runner-up in the Euro Series, having finished second in the championship in 2013, 2016, and 2018.

He previously competed in Formula Renault Eurocup and SMP F4 Championship before making the switch to stock car racing in 2020.

The season started on 13 April with the Valencia NASCAR Fest at Circuit Ricardo Tormo and is scheduled to end on 13 October with the EuroNASCAR Finals at Circuit Zolder. Gianmarco Ercoli and Paul Jouffreau are the reigning champions in EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2 respectively, although Jouffreau will not defend his title after he announced a full-time move to EuroNASCAR PRO. RDV Competition is the reigning Teams champion.
