Alessandra Keller (born 27 January 1996) is a Swiss mountain biker competing in cross country. She competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Keller was born in 1996. [1] She lives in the municipality of Ennetbürgen in the canton of Nidwalden. [2]
Alongside Jolanda Neff, she won the 2016 Swiss Epic, a mountain bike stage race. [3] Aged 22 and still eligible to compete in the U23 category, she won the world cup race in Vallnord, Andorra, Short Track Cross-Country race in the elite class. [4] In the cross country, she won the 2018 World Championship in the U23. [2]
Keller has been Swiss cross-country champion four times: 2012 in the U17 category, 2013 in the U19 category, 2018 in the U23 category, and in 2022 in the elite class. [5] [6] She won silver at the 2022 MTB short track world championships in Les Gets, France, behind Pauline Ferrand-Prévot. [7]
In 2024 she was in Les Gets in Switzerland where she won the short track mountain bike World Cup race there. She was at the time the leader of the series. [8]
Julien Arnaud Absalon is a French former cross-country mountain biker, who competed as a professional from 2001 to 2018. He is considered to be one of the most successful cross-country cyclists of all time. Throughout his career, Absalon gold medals at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics, five World Championships, seven UCI World Cup overall titles and 33 World Cup rounds, which was an all-time record before being broken by Nino Schurter in 2023. He also won all fourteen French cross-country championships between 2003 and 2016, and five European Championships.
Nino Schurter is a Swiss cross-country cyclist who races for the Scott–Sram MTB Racing Team.
Pauline Ferrand-Prévot is a French multi-discipline bicycle racer, who rides for UCI Mountain Bike team Ineos Grenadiers in cross-country cycling. Ferrand-Prévot has also competed in road bicycle racing and cyclo-cross during her career, winning the world title in each discipline. During the 2015 season, aged just 23, she became the first person ever – in the history of cycling – to simultaneously hold the World road title, World cyclo-cross title and World cross-country mountain bike title.
Jolanda Neff is a Swiss cyclist, who primarily rides in the cross-country cycling and cyclo-cross disciplines, for the Trek Factory Racing team. She won the gold medal in the women's cross-country event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Evie Richards is a British cyclist from Malvern, Worcestershire, England who specialises in mountain bike and cyclo-cross racing. She was the women's cross-country world champion at the 2021 Mountain Bike World Championships. Previously, Richards had been under-23 cyclo-cross world champion at the 2016 and 2018 World Championships. In 2022, Richards added a first Commonwealth Games gold in cross-country mountain bike to her palmarès.
Jenny Rissveds is a Swedish cross-country mountainbike rider. She won the gold medal in women's cross country at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Mathias Flückiger is a Swiss mountain bike racer. He rode at the cross-country event at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and 2020 Summer Olympics, where he won a silver medal. His brother Lukas is also a cyclist. In June 2022, he tested positive for zeranol during the Swiss national championships, which he won. He was temporarily suspended on August 19, 2022. He appealed the decision, and in December, his suspension was lifted.
Alan Hatherly is a South African professional mountain bike racer. He won the bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics finishing with a time of 1:26:33, the first African and non-European to win a medal in the men's event.
Anne Terpstra is a Dutch cross-country cyclist. She placed 15th in the women's cross-country race at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She was on the start list of 2018 Cross-Country European Championships and was not allowed to finish.
Jordan Sarrou is a French mountain biking competitor, who currently rides for UCI Mountain Bike team Absolute–Absalon–BMC. He won the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships at Leogang, Austria in 2020. He has also competed in road cycling infrequently, finishing third in the 2014 Ruota d'Oro.

At the 2021 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, she won the gold medal with the French team in the cross-country relay and became world champion in the junior cross-country category.
