Alexandre Liess (born June 20, 1991) is a Swiss swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and butterfly events. [1] [2] He is a 10-time Swiss swimming champion, and currently holds age group national records in the 200 m butterfly. Liess is a member of SSG Saar Max Ritter in Germany, under his Russian-born coach Gennadi Touretski, who is best known for training multiple Olympic medalists Alexander Popov and Michael Klim in the late 1990s. Liess qualified for the men's 200 m butterfly at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, by breaking a Swiss record and eclipsing the FINA B-cut off time of 1:58.13 at the European Championships in Debrecen, Hungary. [4] [5] He challenged seven other swimmers in the second heat, including former semifinalist Hsu Chi-chieh of the Chinese Taipei. Liess was in last place by 0.16 of a second behind Canada's David Sharpe. Liess failed to advance into the semifinals, as he placed thirty-third overall in the preliminaries. [6]
Martin Liivamägi is an Estonian swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke and individual medley events. He is a two-time Olympian, a 2010 Pac-10 champion in the 200 m individual medley, a double NCAA team titleholder, a 43-time Estonian swimming champion, and a 24-time national record holder in different age groups. He also won a silver medal in the same stroke at the 2006 European Junior Swimming Championships in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
Pedro Diogo Tavares Martins de Oliveira is a Portuguese swimmer, who specialized in backstroke and butterfly events. He is a two-time Olympian, and a double silver medalist in the 200 m backstroke at the European Junior Championships. He also holds four Portuguese records, two national titles, and has produced a stellar performance at the NCAA Swimming Championships, earning five All-American titles as a member of Louisville Cardinals.

He is a two-time Olympian, an NCAA Champion, a 2011 Big East Conference champion, and a current Portuguese record holder in the 50, 100 and 200 m breaststroke in the long and short course. Almeida is a resident athlete for Amadora Swimming Club in Lisbon, and is coached and trained by Filipe Coelho.
Laurent Carnol is a Luxembourgish swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. Carnol set national records of 1:01.39 and 2:09.78 in the men's breaststroke at the 2010 European Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, and at the 2012 European Long Course Meet in Luxembourg City, respectively. Carnol is also a member of SC Le Dauphin Ettelbruck under his personal coach Ian Armiger, and currently, a chemistry student at Loughborough University in Leicestershire, England.
Tomáš Klobučník is a Slovak swimmer, who specializes in breaststroke events. He is a multiple-time Slovak swimming champion and record holder in the 100 and 200 m breaststroke, and also, a two-time Swimmer of the Year by the Slovak Swimming Federation. Klobucnik is also a resident athlete for J&T Sport Team Bratislava, and is coached and trained by Gabriel Baran.
Yannick Käser is a Swiss swimmer, specializing in breaststroke events. He is a 7-time Swiss swimming champion, a multiple-time age-group record holder, and a member of the swimming team for Virginia Cavaliers. He is also training with Limmat Sharks in Zurich under his coach Dirk Reinicke. He used to train with coach Dieter Sofka up to 2011.

Alexandru Coci is a Romanian swimmer, who specialized in butterfly events. He is a Romanian swimming champion and record holder in butterfly, individual medley, relay events, and honorable mention All-American in the 100 m butterfly. Coci also became the first swimmer for the University of Alabama to break a 47-second barrier, when he posted a time of 46.50 seconds in the same stroke at the NCAA Division I Championships.
Martina Eva van Berkel-Schwartz is a Swiss swimmer, who specialized in butterfly events. She currently holds several Swiss records in the 100 and 200 m butterfly. Van Berkel also trains for the Limmat Sharks in Zurich under her personal coach Dirk Reinicke. She is the sister of one of the nation's prominent triathletes Jan van Berkel, who forged and motivated her to compete internationally in swimming.
Choi Hye-Ra is a South Korean swimmer, who specialized in butterfly and individual medley events. She collected four medals in the 200 m butterfly, 200 m individual medley, and the 800 m freestyle relay at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar, and at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. She also won a silver medal in the same medley distance at the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, China, with a time of 2:14.17. She is a resident athlete of Osan Sports Club in Seoul.
Andres Olvik is an Estonian swimmer, who specialized in backstroke events. He represented his nation Estonia at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has won two gold medals in a backstroke double at the 2011 Baltic Championships in Riga, Latvia. Apart from his medal treasury, he also set a long-course Estonian record in the 200 m backstroke (2:02.67) at the 2012 European Championships in Debrecen, Hungary. Olvik currently trains for the Estonian national team, while coaching numerous age groups at Kalev Swim School in Tallinn.
Viktor Bodrogi is a Hungarian former swimmer, who specialized in backstroke and butterfly events. He is a two-time Olympian, a five-time All-American honoree, and a multiple-time Hungarian title and record holder in both backstroke and butterfly. He also defended two titles in the same stroke at the 2000 and 2001 European Junior Swimming Championships in Dunkerque, France, and in Valletta, Malta, respectively. Bodrogi is a former varsity swimmer for the USC Trojans under head coach Dave Salo, and a graduate of history and social sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Kristóf Milák is a Hungarian swimmer. He is the current holder of the world record in the long course 200 metre butterfly and the European record in the long course 100 metre butterfly. He also currently holds the Hungarian record in the short course 50 metre backstroke. At his first Olympic Games, the 2020 Summer Olympics, he won a gold medal in the 200 metre butterfly and a silver medal in the 100 metre butterfly. He has also won three gold medals and one silver at the World Aquatic Championships, as well as three gold medals at the European Aquatics Championships. He was the gold medalist in the 400 metre freestyle, 200 metre freestyle, and 200 metre butterfly events at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics.
