Alice & June is the tenth studio album by French band Indochine. It was released in France on 19 December 2005 in both single-disc and limited edition two disc editions. Even though it was a smaller success than Indochine's previous album (they sold more than a million copies of Paradize), the band played many sold-out shows on the tour that followed. A DVD, filmed at Lille, was released in 2007.

Histoires Naturelles is Nolwenn Leroy's second album. It was released on 5 December 2005 in France. Most of the songs were written by the French singer Laurent Voulzy and Nolwenn Leroy herself. The title track was written in English by Yasmin Shah and Arnaud Rosenthal, and "Mélusine" by Yasmin Shah. "London Fantasy" was co-written by members of English down-tempo band Sundae Club. Leroy adapted all the English-language lyrics into French.

"Santiano" is a 1961 song, inspired by the sea shanty "Santianna", which uses the same tune. The song tells of a ship from Saint Malo bound to San Francisco, which is described as a place of great wealth. The French-language version was popularized first in the 1960s by Hugues Aufray.

The album was almost entirely written by the singer himself, while the musics were composed by Laurent Voulzy and Souchon's son, Pierre Souchon, according to the songs. The album's name is a tribute to Théodore Monod.

Savoir aimer is a 1997 album recorded by French singer Florent Pagny. It was his fifth album oversall and was released on 1 November 1997. It achieved huge success in France and Belgium (Wallonia), where it remained charted respectively for 84 and 64 weeks, including two weeks atop. To date it is Pagny's best-selling album, with over 1,5 million copies sold. It was led by the single "Savoir aimer", a number-one hit in both countries, and followed by "Chanter", "D'un amour l'autre" and "Dors". French artists Pascal Obispo, Zazie, Art Mengo and Jean-Jacques Goldman wrote at least one song of the album.
