3 is the third studio album by French new wave band Indochine. It was released in 1985 in France, Germany, Canada, Japan and Sweden.
"3eme Sexe" was the inspiration for Mylène Farmer's song "Sans contrefaçon". Miss Kittin covered "3ème Sexe" for her album I Com [1] and was reworked by Christine and the Queens as "3SEX" with Indochine in 2020. [2] [3]

Indochine is a French rock and new wave band formed in Paris in 1981. They became very successful in the Francophonie, Europe and Latin America in the 1980s, with songs like "L'Aventurier" and "Canary Bay". Following the release of several critically acclaimed, but commercially unsuccessful, albums in the 1990s, the group returned to stardom with the release of Paradize in 2002. Indochine has sold over 10 million albums and singles, making them the best selling French band.

Héloïse Adélaïde Letissier, known professionally as Christine and the Queens and Rahim C Redcar, is a French singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Nantes, he started learning piano at the age of four and found inspiration in one of London's clubs while studying. Letissier released a series of extended plays (EPs) throughout 2011–2013.
"Christine", also released under the title "Tilted", is a song by Christine and the Queens. "Christine", which is recorded in French, was released for download on 13 October 2014 through Because Music as the third single from his debut studio album Chaleur humaine (2014). It was, however, originally recorded in English titled "Cripple" in 2012, and a later English version was released as "Tilted" on 3 March 2015. It was named one of the ten best songs of 2015 by Time magazine. "Christine" was a number one hit on both of Belgium's Ultratop charts and peaked at number 3 in France, while "Tilted" became a top 20 hit in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Chaleur humaine is the debut studio album by the French pop singer Christine and the Queens. The album was re-released in 2015 with new songs and "Tilted" – the English version of "Christine" – served as a single.
"Nuit 17 à 52" is a song by Christine and the Queens. It was released as a digital download on 3 June 2013 through Because Music as his debut single from his debut studio album Chaleur humaine (2014). On the US and UK editions of the album, it was replaced by an English version entitled "Night 52". The song was written by Héloïse Letissier, i.e. Christine and the Queens himself.

La vita nuova is an extended play by French singer-songwriter Christine and the Queens. The EP was released digitally alongside an accompanying short film on 27 February 2020 through Because Music, with CD and vinyl versions following on 29 May 2020. A double 7" containing two of the EP's tracks and a live piano version of each was released on Record Store Day. The two live versions were featured on an expanded edition of the EP, released on 27 February 2021. The title track is Christine's first song to feature lyrics in Italian since "Science Fiction" from his debut album Chaleur humaine.

It was released on 4 November 2021 as the second single from XCX's fifth studio album, Crash (2022). The song has been described as an '80s-inspired synth-pop, indie pop, and electro-funk track.
Redcar les adorables étoiles (prologue) is the third studio album by French singer Christine and the Queens, released on 11 November 2022. On the album, Héloïse Letissier adopts the moniker Redcar, just as he adopted the moniker Chris on his previous album, Chris (2018). It is the first album in a series, with the second Redcar album, Paranoia, Angels, True Love, following on 9 June 2023. It was preceded by the singles "Je te vois enfin", "Rien dire" and "La chanson du chevalier". Christine and the Queens performed two shows at the Cirque d'hiver in Paris in promotion of the album in November 2022, and at the Royal Festival Hall in London on 22 November.
Dominik Nicolas or Dominique Nicolas is a French musician and composer. He is best known for having been the co-founder in of the band Indochine. Nicolas composed most of the band's biggest hits such as L'Aventurier, 3e sexe, Trois nuits par semaine, Canary Bay or Tes yeux noirs.
