Le baiser (The Kiss) is the fifth studio album by French new wave band, Indochine. It was released in 1990 and is the follow-up album to 7000 Danses . [1]
Yann Pierre Tiersen is a French Breton musician and composer. His musical career is split between studio recordings, music collaborations, and film soundtracks songwriting. His music incorporates a large variety of classical and contemporary instruments, primarily the electric guitar, the piano, synthesisers, and the violin, but he also includes instruments such as the melodica, xylophone, toy piano, harpsichord, piano accordion, and even a typewriter.
Indochine is a French rock and new wave band formed in Paris in 1981. They became very successful in the Francophonie, Europe and Latin America in the 1980s, with songs like "L'Aventurier" and "Canary Bay". Following the release of several critically acclaimed, but commercially unsuccessful, albums in the 1990s, the group returned to stardom with the release of Paradize in 2002. Indochine has sold over 10 million albums and singles, making them the best selling French band.
Malicorne are a French folk and folk rock band formed in September 1973 by Gabriel Yacoub, Marie Yacoub, Hughes de Courson and Laurent Vercambre. They flourished in the 1970s, broke up three times in the 1980s but re-formed twice in the early 2010s and toured from July 2012 until their last show in August 2017, after which they broke up.

Paradize is a 2002 album recorded by French band Indochine. It was its ninth studio album and was released on 14 May 2002. It achieved great success in francophone countries and even topped the albums chart in Belgium (Wallonia). It provided six singles, which became hit singles : "Punker", "J'ai demandé à la lune", "Mao Boy", "Le grand secret", "Marilyn" and "Un singe en hiver". The French edition of Rolling Stone magazine named this album the 98th greatest French rock album.
Nicolas Henri Didier Sirchis, better known by his stage name Nicola Sirkis, is a French musician, primarily known for his work as the frontman and singer of the French rock band Indochine. He is the only remaining member of the original line-up of the band which he formed in 1981 with a friend, Dominique Nicolas, soon to be joined by his twin brother Stéphane and Dimitri Bodianski.

It was recorded during three concerts performed on 15, 16, and 17 February 2002, at the Cité de la Musique in Paris, France. The album is noteworthy because of the many collaborators appearing in the performances such as the 35-member orchestral group Synaxis, conducted by Guillaume Bourgogne, Claire Pichet, Christine Ott, Christian Quermalet, Marc Sens, Nicolas Stevens, Jean-François Assy, Renaud Lhoest, Olivier Tilkin, Ronan le bars, Les Têtes Raides, Dominique A and Lisa Germano.
"J'ai demandé à la lune" is a song by the French new wave band Indochine, from their 2002 album Paradize. Written by Mickaël Furnon, the singer of Mickey 3D, the song was released as the second single from this album in March 2002, and quickly became a national success, selling over a million units. The album similarly achieved commercial success a few months later.

Space Art was a French electronic music duo that originally consisted of Dominique "Terracota" Perrier on keyboards and Roger "Bunny" Rizzitelli on drums. Formed in 1977, Space Art split up in 1981, after releasing three studio albums. Rizzitelli died in 2010, and two years later, Perrier released a tribute album with a number of musicians including his late wife, Janet Woollacott, under the name Dominique Perrier Project. In 2016, Perrier recruited Rizzitelli's son Tommy to play drums, and they released two further studio albums, once more under the name Space Art. Perrier died in 2023.
Stéphane Sirkis was a French musician and composer. He is best known for being a guitarist of the band Indochine from 1982 to 1999.
