Alicia Andrews (born 1966 or 1967) is an American politician serving as the chair of the Oklahoma Democratic Party. Before that,she served for two years as the party secretary. [3] She is the first African-American to hold the position of party chair. [4]
Andrews has served three consecutive terms as of her latest reelection in 2023. Her current term ends in 2025. [5]
Lottie H. Shackelford is an American politician who in 1987 was the first woman appointed Mayor of Little Rock,Arkansas. In 1993,President Bill Clinton appointed her to the Board of Directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC),making her the first African-American woman to serve in that role.
