Aliishimia is a Gram-negative, aerobic and non-motile bacterial genus from the family Rhodobacteraceae with one known species ( Aliishimia ponticola ).^[1]^[2]Aliishimia ponticola has been isolated from seawater from the Jeju island.^[2]
