The Rhodobacteraceae are a family of Pseudomonadota in the order Rhodobacterales within the alpha subgroup. [1] Like all Pseudomonadota, they are gram-negative. It contains chemoorganotrophs and photoheterotrophs. Many occur in aquatic habitats.
