Eriya Kategaya was a Ugandan lawyer and politician. At the time of his death he was Uganda's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Community Affairs. He was also an ex officio Member of the Ugandan Parliament,on account of being a cabinet minister.
Sam Kahamba Kutesa is a Ugandan politician,businessman and lawyer involved in several corruption cases. By the marriage of his daughter Charlotte Kutesa Muhoozi with Muhoozi he is part of the inner circle of president Museveni. Aggrey Siryoyi Awori was a Ugandan economist,politician and Olympic hurdler,who served as Minister for Information and Communications Technology in the Cabinet of Uganda from 16 February 2009 to 27 May 2011. Prior to that,he represented Samia-Bugwe North,Busia District in the Ugandan Parliament from 2001 until 2006. Awori was an outspoken opposition member of parliament for the Uganda People's Congress (UPC) political party. In 2007,he abandoned the UPC and joined the ruling National Resistance Movement.
Daudi Migereko was the minister of lands,housing and urban development in the cabinet of Uganda. He was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011. He replaced Omara Atubo,who was dropped from the cabinet. In the cabinet reshuffle of 2016,the president dropped him from this position and replaced him with Betty Amongi. From 16 February 2009 until 27 May 2011,he served as the government's chief whip in the parliament of Uganda. Before that,he was the minister of energy and mineral development in the cabinet. Migereko also represented Butembe County,Jinja District in the parliament from 2006 to 2016,a position he surrendered to Nelson Lufafa who won the seat in the 2016 General Elections.
Hope Ruhindi Mwesigye is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. She is the former Minister for Agriculture,Animal Industry &Fisheries from 16 February 2009 until 27 May 2011. Prior to that,she served as the State Minister for Local Government,from June 2006 until February 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011,she was dropped from the cabinet and replaced by Tress Bucyanayandi.
Jenipher Kacha Namuyangu,also Jennifer Namuyangu Byakatonda,but commonly referred to as Jennifer Namuyangu,is a Ugandan politician and environmentalist. She belongs to the National Resistance Movement political party. She is the current Minister of State for Bunyoro Affairs in the Prime Minister's Office and former Minister of State for Local Government in the Ugandan Cabinet. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. She previously served as the Minister of State for Water Resources,from 1 June 2006 until 27 May 2011. In the Cabinet reshuffle on 27 May 2011,she was dropped from the cabinet and was replaced by Betty Bigombe. She also served as the elected Member of Parliament for Pallisa District Women's Representative,from 2001 until 2011. In 2010,Pallisa District was split into two,to create Kibuku District. Namuyangu contested for the parliamentary seat of Kibuku County,Kibuku District. She was rigged bySaleh Kamba by a wide margin.
George William Thembo Nyombi is a Ugandan economist and politician. He is the executive director Uganda Communications Commission a position he assumed on 24 November 2023 and a former State Minister for Information Technology in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011. He replaced Alintuma Nsambu,who was dropped from the Cabinet. Prior to that,he served as the State Minister for Luweero Triangle in the Office of the Prime Minister,from 2009 until 2011. Nyombi Thembo is also a former Member of Parliament (MP),for "Kassanda County South",Mubende District. He has continuously represented the constituency since 2001.
General Elly Tumwine,was a Ugandan military officer,designer,visual artist,and educator. He was the former Security Minister in the Cabinet of Uganda,from March 2018 until 2021. He retired from active military service in July 2022.
General Edward Kalekezi Kayihura,commonly known as Kale Kayihura,is a Ugandan lawyer,military General,farmer and former policeman. He was the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of the Uganda Police Force,the highest rank in that branch of Uganda's government,from 2005 until 5 March 2018. He was succeeded by Martin Okoth Ochola in an unexpected reshuffle. This also saw the Minister for security Henry Tumukunde replaced.
Namayanja Rose Nsereko is a Ugandan lawyer,columnist,author,security sector manager and politician. She is the current Deputy Secretary General of Uganda's rulling party.
Barbara Nekesa Oundo is a Ugandan politician and diplomat,who serves as Uganda's High Commissioner to South Africa,based in Pretoria. In that capacity,she also represents her country,to the nations of South Africa,Botswana,Namibia,Lesotho and Swaziland.

Frank Kagyigyi Tumwebaze is a Ugandan educator and politician of the National Resistance Movement political party. He is the Minister of Agriculture,Animal Industry and Fisheries,effective 8 June 2021.

Judith Nalule Nabakooba is a Ugandan politician and former policewoman. She is currently the Minister of Lands,Housing and Urban Development,in the Cabinet of Uganda. She was appointed to that position on 8 June 2021.
Peter Ogwang is a Ugandan politician. He is the current Minister of State for Sports in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 22 July 2022,replacing Denis Obua. Previously,he was the State Minister for Economic Monitoring and had earlier served as the State Minister for Information,Communication,ICT and National Guidance. He is also the elected Member of Parliament for Usuk County in Katakwi District,in the 10th Parliament (2016-2021).
Florence Namayanja is a female Ugandan politician who was district woman representative of Bukoto County East,Masaka District. She was affiliated to the Democratic Party political party and now affiliated to National Unity Platform. In the 11th Parliament,she stood as the Candidate for LC5 Chairperson for Masaka City under the National Unity Platform although she lost the elections. She was the winner of Masaka city mayoral seat after defeating seven candidates including business tycoon,Emmanuel Lwasa with 28,824 votes.
Kwizera Eudia was a Ugandan politician and social worker. A member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party,she served in the eighth Parliament of Uganda representing Kisoro District.
Susan Nakawuki Nsambu is a Ugandan lawyer,politician and legislator who served in the eighth Parliament of Uganda as the Woman representative for Busiiro County East in Wakiso District. She was a member of the third and forth East African Legislative Assemblies.
