Altagracia Contreras (born 18 February 1974) is a Dominican Republic judoka. She competed in the women's lightweight event at the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1] Contreras was the flag bearer for the Dominican Republic in the 1992 opening ceremony. [2]

The Miss Mundo Dominicana 2003 pageant was held on September 19, 2002, with only 40 candidates competing for the national crown. The chosen winner represented the Dominican Republic at the Miss World 2003. The pageant selected three delegates from each six regions that would make it top 18. She was one of the two athletes that represented her home country in weightlifting at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She failed her three attempts in the snatch stage ending with no mark.

A year later she carried the flag for her native country at the opening ceremony of the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
