Aman ki Asha (Urdu : امن کی آشا, Hindi : अमन की आशा, translation: "Hope for Peace") is a campaign jointly started by two leading media houses, The Jang Group of Pakistan, and The Times of India in India. The campaign aims for mutual peace and development of diplomatic and cultural relations between the two nations in South Asia. It was established on 1 January 2010. [1]

The Line of Control (LoC) is a military control line between the Indian- and Pakistani-controlled parts of the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir—a line which does not constitute a legally recognized international boundary, but serves as the de facto border. It was established as part of the Simla Agreement at the end of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Both nations agreed to rename the ceasefire line as the "Line of Control" and pledged to respect it without prejudice to their respective positions. Apart from minor details, the line is roughly the same as the original 1949 cease-fire line.
The Simla Agreement, also spelled Shimla Agreement, was a peace treaty signed between India and Pakistan on 2 July 1972 in Shimla, the capital city of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It followed the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, which began after India intervened in East Pakistan as an ally of Bengali rebels who were fighting against Pakistani state forces in the Bangladesh Liberation War. The Indian intervention proved decisive in the war and led to East Pakistan's breakaway from its union with West Pakistan and the emergence of the independent state of Bangladesh.

The main characters in the original film are Israeli and Palestinian, whilst in Total Siyapaa, they are Indian and Pakistani.
Hafiz Muhammad Fazal Azim Taha is a Pakistani poet, writer, columnist, analyst, physician and lyricist born on 7 February 1962 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He started writing poetry in the early 21st century. He wrote many poems for children, youth, peace, romance, religious and for the defense of the nation. His work for youth has given him popularity and appreciation. In response to his work for youth he was given the position of Poet for Youth.He has adopted the nickname Taha as his pen name. He is the son of Hakeem Muhammad Yahya Khan Shifa who is the master of renowned poet Qateel Shifai. Taha also wrote for peace between Pakistan and India. Aman Ki Asha is the project of India and Pakistan for the peace of the subcontinent. He also Participated in Aman Ki Asha for peace between Pakistan and India. This project was started by Jang Media Group (Pakistan) and The Times of India (India).
Feica is a Pakistani cartoonist who satirises Pakistani politics. He has worked in newspapers and publications of the country, while simultaneously exhibiting his work as a painter and artist since 1979. He is retired and lends his services as an advisor and consultant to various organizations locally and internationally, while also giving visiting lectures at educational institutions.
The Kartarpur Corridor is a visa-free border crossing and religious corridor, connecting the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, near Narowal in Pakistan to Gurudwara Dera Baba Nanak, Gurdaspur district, Punjab, India. The crossing allows devotees from India to visit the gurdwara in Kartarpur, Pakistan, 4.7 kilometres from the India–Pakistan border on the Pakistani side without a visa. However, Pakistani Sikhs are unable to use the border crossing, and cannot access Dera Baba Nanak on the Indian side without first obtaining an Indian visa or unless they work there.
Peacebuilding in Jammu and Kashmir includes confidence-building measures at a nation-state level between the governments of India and Pakistan, track two diplomacy, as well as initiatives by non-governmental organisations (NGOs), institutes and individuals. The purpose of peacebuilding in Jammu and Kashmir include conflict prevention and reduction of hostilities in the Kashmir Valley. Aaghaz-e-Dosti is an India–Pakistan friendship initiative started in 2012 by Mission Bhartiyam. The founder of Aaghaz-e-Dosti is Ravi Nitesh. It seeks to enhance people-to-people relationship between the two countries, and become the medium through which people of the two countries can discover the reality on the either side of the border to improve understanding. It urges Pakistan, India to reopen diplomatic channels, and supports move on ceasefire commitment.
