Ampelophaga thomasi is a moth of the family Sphingidae. [2] It was described by Ian J. Kitching and Jean-Marie Cadiou in 1998. It is known from Nepal. [3]

It is known from Malta, but there are closely related populations found on Sicily and southern Italy, which might prove to be the same species.
