Due to Izhar Qazi's striking resemblance with Indian film actor Amitabh Bachchan, he immediately caught the attention of Fatima Surayya Bajia who wanted to cast a newcomer for this role, which marked his acting debut. [5]

She died on 10 February 2016 in Karachi, aged 85.

Aangan Terha was a satirical Pakistani drama presented by the PTV network in the year 1984. The show starred Salim Nasir, Shakeel, Arshad Mehmood, Durdana Butt and Bushra Ansari in lead roles. It was directed by Qaiser Farooq and written by Anwar Maqsood.

Izhar Qazi was a Pakistani actor and singer. His most famous films were Love In Nepal, Aalmi Jasoos, Khazana, and Sarkata Insaan. He was a two-time recipient of the Nigar Award. Most of his films were in Urdu and Punjabi. He was also a singer—he recorded a studio album, Zara Aake Dekho To, that was re-released by EMI Pakistan in 2014.
