Arsh Muneer was a Pakistani actress and singer who acted in television dramas. [2] She played roles in the dramas Khuda Ki Basti , Shama , Shehzori , Zair, Zabar, Pesh , Intezar Farmaiye and Ana . [2]
Arsh was born in 1914 in Lucknow, British India. [3] She migrated to Pakistan in Karachi with her family [3] Later she completed her studies from the University of Karachi. [3] [4] She started working at Radio Pakistan in Lahore in 1947 after migrating to Pakistan. [3] [5] [6] She also did stage shows and theatre plays. [7] [8]
While she was in British India she had started working at All India Radio in Delhi. She made her debut as an actress on PTV in 1964, the same year that PTV was launched. [2] [9] She performed in dramas Zair, Zabar, Pesh , Jaidi and Eid Ka Jora. [10] [11] She also appeared in dramas Oh, Maaf Kijiye, Intezar Farmaiye, Kya Bane Baat and Fanooni Lateefay. [12] [13] She worked at Radio Pakistan for 30 years. [14] [15] She also appeared in movie Insan Badalta Hay. [16] [17] She also sanged songs for Radio, dramas and films. [3] [18] Since then she appeared in dramas Ana , Ba Adab Ba Mulahiza Hoshiyar and Shehzori . [19] [20] For her contributions towards the television industry, she was honored by the Government of Pakistan with the Pride of Performance in 1983. [21] In 2005, Tributes were paid to her at the 1st Indus Drama Awards in Karachi by television personalities Moin Akhter, Babra Sharif, Faysal Qureshi, Humayun Saeed, Sultana Siddiqui and Adnan Siddiqui. Arsh was married and had five children. [3]
She died on 8 September 1998 in Karachi and was buried at Sakhi Hassan Graveyard. [3]

Haseena Moin was a Pakistani dramatist, playwright and scriptwriter. She wrote several plays for stage, radio, and television. She was the recipient of the Pride of Performance award for her services to the performing arts in Pakistan. She wrote Pakistan Television's first original script Kiran Kahani aired in the early 1970s. PTV had previously relied upon novel-based scripts for its dramas. She was considered to be the best Urdu playwright and dramatist Pakistan has ever witnessed.
Moin Akhter, was a Pakistani television, film and stage artist, humorist, comedian, impersonator, host, writer, singer, director and producer who rose to fame in the era of Radio Pakistan along with his co-actors Anwar Maqsood and Bushra Ansari. He became an icon through his screen persona "Rozi" and is considered to be a one-of-a-kind parodist and the king of Urdu comedy. His career spanned more than 45 years, from childhood in the Radio Pakistan era to work of great renown on television, film and stage until a year before his death in 2011.
