Amin Hafeez is a Pakistani freelance journalist, news reporter and YouTuber, known for his humorous style of reporting. Based in Lahore, Hafeez received the Pride of Performance award from the president of Pakistan in 2018 for journalism. [1] [2]

Career

Hafeez started his career in journalism in 1986. His electronic media career began in 2002 with GEO TV. Throughout his career, he has been known for his unique and funny news reports. [3] [4] In 2018, his news report of discussing age-old relations between humans and donkeys, while riding a donkey, went viral. His interview with a buffalo also went viral in 2021. [5]

He left Jang Media Group in February 2022, to focus on his YouTube career. [3] [6] His YouTube channel has 154K subscribers. [7]

Arfa Abdul Karim Randhawa (Urdu: ارفع کریم رندھاوا, Punjabi: ارفع کریم رندھاوا; 2 February 1995 – 14 January 2012) was a Pakistani student and computer prodigy who became the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in 2004. She was submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records for her achievement. Arfa kept the title until 2008 and went on to represent Pakistan on various international forums, including the TechEd Developers Conference. She received Pakistan's highest literary award, the Presidential Pride of Performance from General Pervez Musharraf in 2005. On 23 March 2019, he was awarded the Pride of Performance by the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi, for his contributions to journalism. He was shot and killed by police in Kenya on Oct. 22, 2022. A 592-page report by the Pakistani Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) revealed the killing to be a “planned targeted assassination," claiming that Kenyan police were "used as instruments." <i>Saawan</i> Pakistani movie (2017)

Saawan is a 2017 Pakistani drama film directed by Farhan Alam and produced and written by Mashood Qadri under the production banner of Kalakar Entertainments. The film is based on a true story of a disabled child, who faced difficulties in the deserts of Pakistan. The film stars Saleem Mairaj, Syed Karam Abbas, Arif Bahalim, Najiba Faiz and Imran Aslam in the lead roles. The other cast includes Tipu Sharif, Hafeez Ali, Sehrish Qadri, Sohail Malik, Shahid Niazmi, Muhammad Abbas, Danial Yunus, Mehek Zulfiqar and Syed Muhammad Ali. A special appearance is made by Lt. Gen. S. A. A. Najmi (R). It was selected as the Pakistani entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.
