Amir Adnan is a Pakistani fashion designer who founded and runs the eponymous brand. [1] [2] [3]

Amir Adnan began the business of fashion clothing for men in 1990, [2] and has, over the past three decades, [4] built a renowned name that is also lauded for quality work. He is also credited for having glamorized the sherwani in modern times.

Personal life

Amir Adnan (born January 23, 1965) is a descendant of the Royal Dhaka Nawab family. He is the great-grandson of Nawab Sir Khwaja Salimullah, who was the founder of the All-India Muslim League in 1906. He is married to designer Huma Adnan, with whom he has three children: son, Shafae Adnan, and daughters, Parishae Adnan, and Nichae Adnan. Amir Adnan is also a prominent alumnus of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Karachi, Pakistan. [5]

Out of the two notable fashion councils in Pakistan, Amir Adnan has been involved in varying capacities in both. He is a founding member of Fashion Pakistan, of which he has been the CEO twice. Moreover, he has also been on the board of the Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design.

Showcased work

Amir Adnan’s work has been showcased at numerous events, such as Dubai Fashion Week, [7] Fashion Week Karachi, Fashion Week Lahore, and the Fox TV Live Show [8] in LA. He also displayed his collection at Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW) in Spring/Summer 2018 in Karachi while creating awareness about the deaf community, and having members participate in the walk. [2]

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, sometimes abbreviated as JPNA 2, is a 2018 Pakistani romantic comedy film, directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Vasay Chaudhry. It is a joint venture of Salman Iqbal Films, Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib's Six Sigma Plus, and Jerjees Seja's ARY Films. It is sequel to the 2015 film Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, and the second installment in Jawani Phir Nahi Ani film series. The cast includes Humayun Saeed, Ahmed Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Uzma Khan and Sarwat Gillani all of whom reprise their roles from previous film, along with Fahad Mustafa, Kubra Khan, and Mawra Hocane who join the franchise.

Sania Maskatiya is a Pakistani fashion designer. Her clothing line is called Sania Studio, which was featured in the 2018 edition of New York Fashion Week. She has won many LUX Style Awards for Achievement in Fashion Design. A textile design graduate of the prestigious Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in Karachi, Pakistan, Sania Maskatiya joined hands with business partner and director, Umair Tabani, in 2010 to creative a distinctive fashion label that captured the fashion industry by storm. Her brand is known for including rich textiles, fabric design and embroidery within its pieces. Through the success of her brand, Sania Makatiya became one of Pakistan's renowned fashion designers and exports, with branches all over Pakistan, and in Dubai, Singapore, The United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Huma Nawab is a Pakistani actress. She played major roles in Chand Grehan, Aahat, Nijaat, Hawain, and Silsila.
