And &End is the sixth extended play [A] by South Korean girl group T-ara,which was released on September 11,2014,by Core Contents Media. [2]
On August 6,2014,it was revealed that the group would be returning with a new album the following month,with their label later confirming a mid-September release date. [3] [4] The title track,"Sugar Free",is an electronic dance music (EDM)-inspired song of the big room genre and was produced by Shinsadong Tiger,who had worked with the group on previous releases including "Roly-Poly","Lovey-Dovey",and "Number 9",and Beom &Nang. [5] [6] Core Contents Media released a stand-alone single of "Sugar-Free" on September 24,2014. The stand-alone single featured the "BigRoom Version" of Sugar-Free as well as various remixes of the single. The "BigRoom Version" was promoted as the primary version of "Sugar Free" and released to media outlets and radio.
EDM Club Sugar Free Edition is the second remix album by South Korean girl group T-ara,which was released on September 24,2014. [7] The album consisted of a total of 18 tracks;all remixes of "Sugar Free" in Korean and English. The original version of the song featuring LE of EXID was also included on the album.
On October 9,a representative of T-ara said,"We only released a limited edition of the EDM Edition album of 7,000 copies,but fans in Southeast Asia Ordered nearly 20,000 copies. We are very surprised and grateful for the interest of the fans,as this album was planned to be a limited release only,we decided not to release any more." [8]
"Sugar Free" received generally positive reviews. Scott Interrante of PopMatters praised the song's synths use and the "saccharine and overly processed" vocals "Sugar-Free is as good as one could hope it to be". [9] "ORGR",a side-track from the EP was chosen as the 10th best T-ARA song by NME describing it as ahead of its time for its infusion of dance-pop,nu-disco and electropop which "pair beautifully with T-ARA’s vocal range and soulful tones". "Sugar Free" ranked at No. 7 on the same list highlighting its success at becoming a staple in clubs all over Asia. [10]
And &End debuted at number two on the Gaon Album Chart for the week of September 7,2014. [11] In the United States,the album debuted at number 12 on the Billboard World Albums chart. As of December 2014,the album has sold 20,677 copies. [12] On May 19,2016,YinYueTai announced Top 15 MVs with the most views on YinYueTai. In this list, [13] T-ara ranked first and second with two music videos " Number Nine " (133 million views) and "Sugar Free" (122.8 million views). [14]
On February 5,2016,"Sugar Free" (Big Room Ver.) was added to Japanese game NEON FM's playlist as well as Pump It Up Prime 2's song list in 2014 and later again in 2016. [15]

T-ara is a South Korean girl group formed in 2009, currently consisting of four members: Qri, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon. T-ara's career is marked by hook-heavy dance-pop music, a result of their close partnership with composer Shinsadong Tiger. A broad array of visual concepts have earned the group a "chameleon-like" reputation. The group has achieved commercial success in several regions in Asia including South Korea and China, with their single "Roly-Poly" (2011) being one of the most downloaded domestic singles since 2010 and the most downloaded girl group single to date.
South Korean girl group T-ara has released four studio albums, nine extended plays, two compilation albums, two remix albums, two single albums, and thirty-six singles, and six promotional singles. T-ara's debut studio album Absolute First Album (2009) peaked at number two on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart and yielded two South Korean top-ten singles, "Bo Peep Bo Peep" and "Like the First Time". Its 2010 reissue, Breaking Heart, reached number two in South Korea and spawned the number-one single "You Drive Me Crazy", which sold over three million digital downloads.
XOXO is the debut studio album by South Korean boy band Exo, released on June 3, 2013, by SM Entertainment and distributed by KT Music. The album is a follow-up to the group's debut EP, Mama (2012). The album was released in two versions – a Korean "Kiss" edition and a Chinese "Hug" edition.
"Number Nine" is a song by South Korean girl group T-ara, from their eighth extended play Again. The song was written and composed by Shinsadong Tiger and Choi Gyu-sung. "Number Nine" was released as the lead single from the album on 10 October 2013. The song was released in Japanese with "You Gave Me Guidance" which was selected as the theme song to the film Jinx!!! starring member Hyomin. The single was released on 20 November 2013, through EMI Records Japan. "Number Nine" was selected as the song of the year by KoreanWave Indonesia.
Pink Blossom is the fourth EP by South Korean girl group Apink, released on March 31, 2014. Group leader, Chorong, wrote two songs for the album. The music video for title track "Mr. Chu", composed by Duble Sidekick, was released on March 31 along with the album. The song peaked at number 2 on Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100. Apink won six music show trophies for "Mr. Chu" and the song was the eighth best selling digital song in 2014, according to Gaon's year-end chart. They released the music video for "Crystal" on June 14. Pink Blossom was the second best selling album of the week of its release on the Gaon Weekly chart and charted at #31 on the 2014 Gaon Annual Album chart with 66,139 copies sold, becoming the fourth best selling girl group album of the year.
Overdose is the third extended play by South Korean-Chinese boy bands Exo-K and Exo-M. It was released by SM Entertainment and distributed by KT Music on 7 May 2014 in Korean and Chinese versions. It is preceded by their special EP album "Miracles in December" that was released in December 2013. This is the final release to include members Kris and Luhan before they left the group and filed lawsuits against SM Entertainment requesting contract termination. It is also the final album released by Exo-K and Exo-M.
Rise is the second studio album by South Korean recording artist Taeyang, member of the boy group Big Bang. It is his first album in four years since Solar in 2010. Rise became the third highest charting K-pop album, and also the highest charting K-pop album by a Korean soloist on the Billboard 200 chart by debuting at number 112, number one on the Billboard World Albums Chart, number one on Heatseekers Albums Chart. The album also debuted at number one on the Gaon Album Chart. A Japanese edition of Rise was packaged as part of Taeyang's Japanese debut album, Rise + Solar & Hot, on August 13, 2014.

O!RUL8,2?(Oh! Are you late, too?) is the first extended play by South Korean boy band BTS. It was released on September 11, 2013 as the second album after 2 Cool 4 Skool. The album consists of ten tracks, with "N.O" as the lead single. The group later promoted "Attack On Bangtan ", another track from the album.
Skool Luv Affair is the second extended play by South Korean boy band BTS. The ten-track album was released by Big Hit Entertainment on February 12, 2014, with "Boy in Luv" as its lead single. What's My Name? is the ninth extended play by South Korean girl group T-ara. It was released on 14 June 2017, by MBK Entertainment and distributed by Interpark. The EP was released in six versions: a normal edition containing the group songs; an edition of each member with their solo songs; and a digital edition with all the songs, group and solo. A music video for the title track was also released on 14 June. This is the first release since the departure of members Soyeon and Boram and the final release by T-ara under MBK Entertainment. The EP peaked at number four on the Gaon Album Chart. The various versions of the EP have sold over 39,453 physical copies combined as of July 2017.
The War is the fourth studio album by South Korean boy band Exo. It was released on July 18, 2017, by SM Entertainment under Genie Music's distribution. The album includes a total of nine tracks including the lead single "Ko Ko Bop". The War received the highest number of pre-orders at the time for a K-pop album, with more than 800,000 physical copies. 24 days after being released, it became Exo's first album to have sold over 1 million copies with a single release. The War became Exo's fifth consecutive album win Album of the Year and the MAMA Awards.
