Olympiacós Sýndesmos Filáthlon Peiraiós is a major multi-sport club based in Piraeus, Greece. Olympiacos is parent to a number of different competitive departments which participate in football, basketball, volleyball, water polo, handball, athletics, swimming, table tennis and boxing amongst many others—and have won numerous European and domestic titles over the club's history.
Olympiacos Men's Volleyball, commonly referred to as Olympiacos, Olympiacos Piraeus or with its full name as Olympiacos SFP, is the men's professional volleyball department of the major Greek multi-sport club, Olympiacos SFP, based in Piraeus, Attica. The department was founded in 1926 and their home ground is the Melina Merkouri Indoor Hall in Agios Ioannis Rentis, Piraeus.
Giorgos Sigalas, is a retired Greek professional basketball player and basketball coach who last served as the head coach for Kolossos Rodou of the Greek Basketball League (GBL) and the Basketball Champions League (BCL). During the decade of the 1990s, the 2.01 m (6'7") tall swingman was the regular team captain of the pro club Olympiacos Piraeus, of the Greek League and the EuroLeague, and also of the Greece men's national basketball team. Nicknamed Rambo, during his playing career, Sigalas was one of the best European defensive players of his generation.
AEK Men's Volleyball Club is the volleyball team of the major Greek multi-sports club AEK. It was founded in 1982. AEK had its finest moment with coach Stelios Prosalikas when they reached the Final-4 of the Cup Winners Cup in 2000. The matches were held in Athens and AEK lost in the semifinal by Cuneo, but won 3–1 Galatasaray in the 3rd place game.
The Peace and Friendship Stadium, commonly known by its acronym SEF, is a multi-purpose indoor arena that is located in Piraeus, on the coastal zone of Attica, Greece. The arena is mostly known for being the home to EuroLeague team Olympiacos, and is the central venue of the Faliro Coastal Zone Olympic Complex. It opened in 1985 and its design was inspired by Palasport di San Siro.
Todor Aleksiev is a Bulgarian former volleyball player who wore the No. 15 shirt in the national team which he had driven to major success in a number of competitions.
Theodoros "Thodoris" Kalakonas is a Greek water polo player who competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics, and in the 2004 Summer Olympics with the Greece men's national water polo team. He was part of the national squad that won the silver medal at the 1997 World Cup in Athens and the Bronze Medal in the 2004 World League in Long Beach.
Nikola Stamenić, also known as "The General", is a Serbian water polo coach widely considered one of the greatest coaches in water polo history. Under his guidance, Yugoslavia men's national water polo team won the gold medal in both the 1991 World Championship in Perth and the 1991 European Championship in Athens, becoming World and European Champions in the same year. At club level he successfully coached Olympiacos, Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Bečej and Marseille.
Vasileios "Vasilis" Kournetas is a retired Greek volleyball player. A long-standing member of Greece men's national volleyball team, he played in more than 270 games with the Greek team and he competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, finishing at the fifth place. He played in Greece for Olympiacos Piraeus, PAOK, E.A. Patras, Foinikas Syros V.C. and Filia Ilioupolis as well as in Russia for Lokomotiv Belgorod. He announced his retirement from volleyball courts on 5 May 2016. As a key member of Olympiacos for 14 years he won 1 CEV Cup, 7 Greek Championships, 6 Greek Cups, 1 Greek Super Cup and reached the final of the 2001–02 CEV Champions League with the Reds. He also won the 2012 Greek League Cup with Foinikas Syros as well as 2 Greek Championships and 1 Greek Cup with PAOK in the two final seasons of his professional career (2014-2016).

Andreas Andreadis is a Greek male volleyball player. He was part of the Greece men's national volleyball team at the 2006 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Japan. He currently plays for Greek club Floisvos Palaio Faliro in Hellenic Pre League.
Georgios Dragovits is a retired Greek male volleyball player. He was part of the Greece men's national volleyball team that won the bronze medal at the 1987 European Championship in Belgium. He was also part of the Greek team at the 1994 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Greece and the 2002 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Argentina. He played for Olympiacos for 15 years winning two CEV Cup Winners' Cup / CEV Cups and numerous domestic titles.
Sotiris Amarianakis is a former Greek male volleyball player. He was part of the Greece men's national volleyball team that won the bronze medal at the 1987 European Championship in Belgium. He played for Greek powerhouse Olympiacos for 8 years (1988–96), winning numerous titles.
Mitar Djuric or Dimitris Tzourits is a Serbian-Greek male volleyball player. He competed at the 2011 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship with Trentino Volley.

Katerina Giota is a female professional volleyball player from Greece, who used to be a member of the Hellenic national team. At club level, she plays in Hellenic Pre League for G.S. Iraklis Kifisia since May 2024.
Tzina (Georgia) Lamprousi is a female professional volleyball player from Greece, who is a member of the Greece women's national volleyball team. At club level, she plays in Hellenic Volley League for Greek powerhouse Olympiacos Piraeus.
Eirini Kokkinaki is a female professional volleyball player from Greece, who is a member of the Greece women's national volleyball team. At club level, she played in Hellenic Volley League for Greek powerhouse Olympiacos Piraeus from July 2013 till May 2021. Then she traveled to England and played for three years for Newcastle knights.
Her brother Menelaos Kokkinakis is a volleyball player too.
