Andres Olvik (born 16 April 1986) is an Estonian swimmer, who specialized in backstroke events. [1] He represented his nation Estonia at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has won two gold medals in a backstroke double (100 and 200 m) at the 2011 Baltic Championships in Riga, Latvia. Apart from his medal treasury, he also set a long-course Estonian record in the 200 m backstroke (2:02.67) at the 2012 European Championships in Debrecen, Hungary. [2] Olvik currently trains for the Estonian national team, while coaching numerous age groups at Kalev Swim School in Tallinn. [3]
Olvik competed for the Estonian team in the men's 200 m backstroke at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Leading up to the Games, he raced his way to the top of the field with a solid 2:03.12 to crush the Estonian record and comfortably register under the FINA B-cut (2:03.90) by about eight tenths of a second at the Baltic State Multi-Nations Meet in Riga, Latvia. [4] Rallying from fifth at the 150-metre turn in heat two, Olvik tried to maintain his pace towards the final stretch, until the host nation China's Deng Jian made a late surge by more than half a second to edge him out to sixth with a 2:03.66. Olvik failed to advance to the semifinals, as he placed fortieth overall in the prelims. [5] [6]
Martin Liivamägi is an Estonian swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke and individual medley events. He is a two-time Olympian, a 2010 Pac-10 champion in the 200 m individual medley, a double NCAA team titleholder, a 43-time Estonian swimming champion, and a 24-time national record holder in different age groups. He also won a silver medal in the same stroke at the 2006 European Junior Swimming Championships in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
Pedro Diogo Tavares Martins de Oliveira is a Portuguese swimmer, who specialized in backstroke and butterfly events. He is a two-time Olympian, and a double silver medalist in the 200 m backstroke at the European Junior Championships. He also holds four Portuguese records, two national titles, and has produced a stellar performance at the NCAA Swimming Championships, earning five All-American titles as a member of Louisville Cardinals.

Irakli Bolkvadze is a Georgian swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke and individual medley events. He won a bronze medal in the boys' 200 m breaststroke at the 2012 European Junior Swimming Championships in Antwerp, Belgium with a time of 2:15.46. Bolkvadze is also trained by his personal coach Irina Minjulina.
Dorina Szekeres is a former Hungarian swimmer, who specialized in the backstroke and IM events. She graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in sports marketing and management. She is currently the general manager of Team Iron, founding member of the International Swimming League.
Vladimir Sidorkin is an Estonian former swimmer, who specialized in both long and short course freestyle events. Anna-Liisa Põld is an Estonian-born American competition swimmer who has represented Estonia in international events. She competes in the backstroke, butterfly, and individual medley events. She is a two-time national record-holder at the FINA World Championships, and a multiple-time high school and collegiate record-holder. She also represented her birth nation Estonia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.
Takashi Nakano is a Japanese former swimmer, who specialized in backstroke events. He collected a total of three silver medals in the 200 m backstroke at the Universiade. Nakano is also a graduate at Hosei University in Tokyo.

He is an eight-time All-American swimmer, a multiple-time Hungarian titleholder in the age groups (1997–2004), and a two-time finalist at the 2002 European Junior Swimming Championships in Linz, Austria. Rudolf is also a member of the swimming team for the Florida Gators, and an economics graduate at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Łukasz Wójt is a Polish swimmer, who specialized in middle-distance freestyle and individual medley events. He represented his nation Poland at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has won two bronze medals in a major international competition, spanning the 2007 Summer Universiade in Bangkok, Thailand, and the 2008 European Short Course Championships in Rijeka, Croatia. Apart from his international career, Wojt has also claimed multiple Polish championship titles and currently holds the national record in the 200 (1:54.81) and 400 m individual medley (4:03.20), both set at the FINA World Cup meet in Berlin, Germany.
Melissa Jane Corfe is a South African swimmer, who specialised in freestyle and backstroke events. She is a multiple-time South African champion and record holder for her respective events. Corfe represented her nation South Africa at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has won a total of five medals, including three golds in the women's freestyle, at the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algiers, Algeria. She also set two national records, as a member of the South African swimming team, in the freestyle and medley relays, at the 2008 FINA World Short Course Championships in Manchester, England.
Oleg Rabota is a Kazakh swimmer, who specialized in middle-distance freestyle and backstroke events. He represented his nation Kazakhstan at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has won a silver medal in the 200 m freestyle at the 2007 Asian Indoor Games in Macau, China. Kim Ji-heun is a South Korean swimmer, who specialized in backstroke events. He represented his nation South Korea at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and also claimed a silver medal as a member of the 4×100 m medley relay team at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China.
