Andrew John Hodd (born 12 January 1984) [1] is a former English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper,who ended his career playing for Yorkshire. He was born in Chichester. [2]
He made his debut for Sussex in 2003,but moved to Surrey for two years to increase his playing chances. In 2006 he returned to Sussex. [1]
Hodd has represented the English Under-19 cricket team. [2]
In August 2012,Hodd was signed on loan by Yorkshire,to cover for Jonny Bairstow's regular absences with the England cricket team. [3] At the end of the season,the move became permanent with Hodd signing a two-year deal with the club. [4]

Gary Keedy is a retired English cricketer. A slow-left arm spin bowler,he played one match for Yorkshire in 1994,having graduated from their cricket academy,before moving to Lancashire in 1995. He played for the club until 2012 taking over 500 first-class wickets. Although he had played youth internationals,he never played for the senior England team,although he was named in the squad a few times. In 2011 he was part of the Lancashire squad that won the County Championship for the first time since 1950. Keedy subsequently played one season for Surrey and two for Nottinghamshire before retiring as a professional cricketer in 2015. After studying physiotherapy at the University of Salford,he is currently Nottinghamshire's spin bowling coach and assistant physiotherapist.
Michael John Lumb is a former South African-born English cricketer,who played for Yorkshire,Hampshire,and Nottinghamshire at county level and England in Twenty20 International cricket and One Day International cricket. Born and raised in South Africa,Lumb is a left-handed opening batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He became only the second cricketer after Dennis Amiss to score a century on ODI debut for England and ninth player overall to do so. Lumb was a member of the England team that won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20.
1939 was the 46th cricket season in England since the introduction of the County Championship in 1890. It was the one and only season in which English cricket adopted the eight-ball over. 1939 was the last season before the Second World War and it was not until 1946 that first-class cricket could resume in England on a normal basis. He was Sussex's leading wicket-taker in the competition,and also the 2021 County Championship. Carson is eligible to play international cricket for either England or Ireland.
