Andevar (Persian : اندوار‎, also Romanized as Andevār and Andavār)^[1] is a village located in a mountainous area on the Alborz Haraz road, in the Central District of Amol County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 226, in 54 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

The Central District of Amol County is a district (bakhsh) in Amol County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 260,971, in 71,432 families. The District has one city: Amol. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Bala Khiyaban-e Litkuh Rural District, Chelav Rural District, Harazpey-ye Jonubi Rural District, and Pain Khiyaban-e Litkuh Rural District.

Amol County is a county in Mazandaran Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Amol. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 343,747, in 93,194 families. The county is subdivided into three districts: the Central District, Larijan District, and Dabudasht District. The county has five cities: Amol, Rineh, Gazanak, Dabudasht & Amamzadeh Abdallah.
