Angus Finlay George Castle-Doughty (born 12 February 1995) is an English actor. He began his career on stage in productions such as Teechers , The Government Inspector , The Picture of Dorian Gray and All Quiet on the Western Front , before joining the cast of the BBC legal drama Showtrial (2021). He subsequently played Eric Foster in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks (2022–2023). His character led a high-profile incel storyline, which earned the Best Storyline accolade at the 2023 British Soap Awards, as well as earning him a Villain of the Year nomination.
Angus Finlay George Castle-Doughty was born on 12 February 1995. [1] [2] Castle-Doughty studied English, Theatre and History at Dulwich College in South London, graduating in 2013 with three As. He then began studying English and Theatre Studies at the University of Warwick and graduated in 2017 with first class honours degrees. [3]
Castle-Doughty co-founded the Incognito Theatre company alongside four others. He works as the artistic director, as well as appearing, writing and directing various projects for the company. [4] Castle-Doughty has been in a relationship with actress Niamh Blackshaw since 2022. [5] [6]
Castle-Doughty made his acting debut in 2011 in a stage production of Teechers at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre. Three years later, he made his screen debut in the 2014 television film The First Great Escape. Castle-Doughty continued to act in theatre productions, including lead roles in The Government Inspector , The Picture of Dorian Gray , The Net Kill and All Quiet on the Western Front . [7] Then in 2020, he appeared in an episode of the Acorn TV series Agatha Raisin . [8] A year later, he portrayed the recurring role of Mikhael in the Netflix fantasy series Shadow and Bone . [9] Also in 2021, he starred in the BBC courtroom drama series Showtrial as Troy Manners. [10] He then featured in two episodes of the Sky comedy series Bloods . [11]
In 2022, Castle-Doughty was cast as Eric Foster in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks . [12] [13] His character was introduced as the brother of established characters Tony (Nick Pickard) and Verity Hutchinson (Eva O'Hara). [14] His character led a high-profile incel storyline that earned Castle-Doughty award nominations at the British Soap Awards and the Inside Soap Awards. [15] [16] It also saw Hollyoks win the Best Storyline accolade at the 2023 British Soap Awards. [17]

Hollyoaks is a British soap opera which originally began airing on Channel 4 on 23 October 1995. It was created by Phil Redmond, who had previously conceived the soap opera Brookside. From 2005 to 2023, episodes have aired on sister channel E4 a day prior to their broadcast on Channel 4. In 2023, Hollyoaks was removed from Channel 4's early evening schedule, but remains on E4 and Channel 4's on demand service with episodes now uploaded to YouTube.

She then played Juliet Nightingale in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks (2018–2023), for which she was nominated for Best Leading Performer at the 2023 British Soap Awards.
Owen David Warner is an English actor. He is known for portraying the role of Romeo Nightingale in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. For his portrayal of Romeo, Warner won the Digital Spy Reader Award for Best Soap Newcomer in 2018. In November 2022, Warner appeared as a contestant on the 22nd UK series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! finishing in second place.

Zoe Anderson is a fictional character from the British soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Garcia Brown. She made her first appearance on the episode broadcast on 21 February 2022. Brown auditioned for the role after feeling very low about her career. Zoe was introduced as the granddaughter of Pearl Anderson and the new detective of the Hollyoaks village. Zoe is described as being dedicated to her job and not putting anything above it whilst also loving to party and have fun when not working, with Brown praising the two sides of the character and saying that she enjoys playing Zoe.
