Anisostena lecontii is a species of leaf beetle in the family Chrysomelidae. It is found in North America, [1] [2] [3] where it has been recorded from Florida, South Carolina and Virginia.
Adults reach a length of about 4.6-4.8 mm. The head and elytron are black, while the pronotum is red with black basal and apical margins. [4]
Adults have been collected on Panicum repens , but it is not certain that this is the foodplant. [5]
