Anjumoorthy Temple is a Hindu temple at Anjumoorthy neighbourhood in Palakkad district, Kerala in India. [1] [2] It is one of the 108 Shiva Temples in India.

Location

This temple is located with the coordinates of ( 10°37′04″N76°30′09″E / 10.6178°N 76.5025°E / 10.6178; 76.5025 ) at Anjumoorthy village, also called Anjumoorthy Mangalam and this temple is about 1500 years old. [3]

Paramekkavu Bagavathi Temple is one of the largest Bagavathi temples in Kerala located in Thrissur City. Sakthan Thampuran ordained the temples into two groups, namely "Paramekkavu side" and "Thiruvambady side" for Thrissur Pooram which is the biggest festival in South India and Kerala. These two groups are headed by the principal participants, Paramekkavu Bagavathi Temple at Thrissur Swaraj Round and Thiruvambadi Sri Krishna Temple at Shoranur road. Kottukkal Cave Temple, also known as Kaltrikkovil in Malayalam, is an existing example of rock cut architecture, built between 6th and 8th centuries CE. It is situated in the village of Kottukkal, near Anchal, Kollam district, Kerala in India. The name Kottukkal is a reference to rock cut shrine. There are two caves of unequal size, both facing the east with the sculpture of the main deity Ganapathy in between. The smaller cave has an idol of Hanuman and the larger one has a monolithic Nandi (bull) in it. Lord Shiva is also a deity in the temple in the form of a Shiva Ling.

Maa Simsa Mandir or Simsa Mata Mandir is a Hindu temples located in the Mandi district and kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to the Sharada Devi. A Jawaharlal Nehru fellow, Nair was an elected fellow of all the major Indian science academies as well as the Zoological Society of London. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research, awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the highest Indian science awards, in 1971, for his contributions to biological sciences. He received the fourth highest Indian civilian honor of the Padma Shri in 1984.
