Kevin Heffernan was an Irish Gaelic footballer and manager who played as a left corner-forward at senior level for the Dublin county team.
Shane Ryan is an Irish sportsman who plays hurling for the Dublin county team and, formerly, Gaelic football also for the Dublin county team (F), for which he received an All Star. Ryan plays his club hurling and football for Naomh Mearnóg and his preferred position is centre back, although he is known to have played many positions for Dublin. He made his senior debut for Dublin on 4 June 1999. He made the decision to concentrate solely on Gaelic football in 2004, which dealt a blow to the then hurling manager Humphrey Kelleher. Stephen Hiney is a hurler for Ballyboden St Enda's and formerly Dublin. Hiney was the 2008 captain of the Dublin Senior Hurling team. Hiney won his first Dublin Senior Hurling Championship medal with his club Ballyboden St Enda's in October 2007 his second in 2008, his third in 2009 and his fourth in 2010. The 2007 Dublin championship win qualified Ballyboden to play in their first ever Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship game against Oulart-The Ballagh of Wexford. Boden won the game by 1-17 to 0-15. Ballyboden lost in the 2007 Leinster Final against Birr of Offaly.
Ballyboden St Enda's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Knocklyon, South Dublin, Ireland. The Club serves the Rathfarnham, Knocklyon, Ballycullen, Ballyboden, Ballyroan, Firhouse areas. They offer hurling, camogie, Gaelic football, handball, and rounders. They were founded in 1969 after the merger of 2 clubs in the Rathfarnham area – the Ballyboden Wanderers and Rathfarnham St. Endas.

Kevin O'Brien is a former Gaelic footballer from Baltinglass, County Wicklow. O'Brien was part of the great Baltinglass team that dominated Wicklow football in the 80's and 90's, winning an All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship Title in 1990. He is also the only Wicklow recipient of an All Star having won one in 1990 at Full Forward. He won a Railway Cup medal with Leinster in 1986, before he had even played for his county and added a second in 1990. He also represented the Irish International Rules team in 1990 in the success over Australia and again in the 1998 Series. He was also part of the Wicklow team that won the All-Ireland Junior Football Championship Title in 2002. He was inducted in the GAA's Hall of Fame in 2010 and is one of the youngest recipients of the accolade. He received his award at the 2010 Leinster final.
Dermot Earley Junior is a Gaelic footballer who played for the Sarsfields Newbridge club and at senior level for the Kildare county team. He is the son of former Roscommon footballer and former Kildare manager Dermot Earley, brother of Kildare footballer David Earley and nephew of Roscommon footballer Paul Earley.

Karl O'Dwyer is a former footballer from Waterville in south County Kerry. He played with the Kerry team that were shocked by Clare in the final of the 1992 Munster Senior Football Championship. He later played with Kildare and had much success when his father Mick was manager. In 1998 he helped Kildare to their first Leinster Senior Football Championship title since 1956, he later helped his team to a first All Ireland final since 1928 but lost out to Galway on the day. In the semi-final Kildare beat O' Dwyers native Kerry. At the end of the year, he picked up an All Stars Award at full forward. In 2000 he once again helped Kildare to a Leinster title. O'Dwyer retired from inter-county in 2002 following Kildare's defeat to Kerry in the All-Ireland Qualifiers.

Brendan Hackett is a Gaelic football manager, sports psychologist and former chief executive officer of Athletics Ireland, who is currently managing Ballymun Kickhams. He previously managed the Longford, Offaly and Westmeath county teams during the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. He has also trained the Ireland international rules football team and worked with numerous county teams as a psychologist during the 21st century.
