Apache Pizza is a chain of fast food pizza delivery restaurants in Ireland. Founded in 1996 by Robert Pendleton and his wife Emily Gore Grimes, Apache is the trading name of The Good Food Company. [2] [3] As of 2023, it has 200 restaurants throughout the island of Ireland. Apache is Ireland's largest pizza chain. Its Managing Director is Martin Lyons. [4] [3]

In 2015, Apache signed an agreement with Marvin.ie, an online fast food order service similar to Just Eat. [4] [5] [6] As of 2012, the company employs over 800 people and manufactures more than 160,000 pizza dough balls per month. [3]

In March 2018, Spanish restaurant chain Telepizza announced a joint venture with Irish Burger King franchise arm OKR to purchase a majority share of the company. [7]

Eskimo Pizza

Eskimo Pizza was formed by a group of ex-Apache franchisees in 2020. [8] As of April 2021, there were 18 outlets. Since then, new branches have opened in Galway and Grand Parade, Cork. [9] [10]

Awards

In 2014, Fox News listed Apache as one of the best pizza chains in the world. [11] Just Eat named Apache as Ireland's best takeaway in 2015. [12]

Just Eat is an online food order and delivery platform. It was founded in 2001 in Kolding, Denmark, as a food delivery company, and later headquartered in London, United Kingdom, from 2006 until it was purchased by Netherlands-based Takeaway.com in 2020 forming Just Eat Takeaway.com. Just Eat acts as an intermediary between independent takeaway food outlets and customers. The service operates under the Just Eat brand name in seven countries. The platform enables customers to search for local takeaway restaurants, place orders and pay online, and to choose from pick-up or delivery options. A spice bag is a fast food dish, popular in most of Ireland and inspired by Chinese cuisine. The dish is most commonly sold in Chinese takeaways in Ireland, and Irish-themed restaurants elsewhere. Typically, a spice bag consists of deep-fried salt and chilli chips, salt and chilli chicken, red and green peppers, sliced chili peppers, fried onions and a variety of spices. A vegetarian or vegan option is often available, in which deep fried tofu takes the place of the shredded chicken. It is sometimes accompanied by a tub of curry sauce.

Zaytoon is a chain of Persian restaurants, specialising in kebabs, based in Dublin, Ireland. The chain, founded by Iranians, Jamshid Kamvar & Azad Shirazi, and is headquartered in Parliament Street there five outlets across the city and county.
