The Archery Association of Singapore is the National Sports Association for the sport of archery in Singapore.
It is a member association with the world governing body for archery, World Archery Federation.
Its current president is Edelin Wong.
The World Archery Federation is the governing body of the sport of archery. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is composed of 156 national federations and other archery associations, and is recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
The 1983 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 12th Southeast Asian Games, or informally Singapore 1983, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held in Singapore from 28 May to 6 June 1983. Scheduled to be hosted by Brunei in accordance to the renewed alphabetical rotation of hosting duties, the 1983 SEA Games were offered to be hosted by Singapore as Brunei prepared for its forthcoming independence from the United Kingdom. The games also marked the return of Cambodia, as People's Republic of Kampuchea after an 8-year-long absence since the Khmer Rouge seized power in 1975.
Archery Association of India (AAI) is the national governing body of archery in India. Its headquarters are located in New Delhi, and its current president is Arjun Munda, AAI is a non-profit, government funded organisation affiliated by World Archery Federation (IAF), Asian Archery Federation (AAF) and Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and recognized by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of India.
Great Britain participated in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics, the inaugural Youth Olympic Games, held in Singapore.
The Archery World Cup is a competition, started in 2006, organized by the World Archery Federation, where the archers compete in four stages in four countries and the best eight archers of each category advance to an additional stage to contest the Archery World Cup Final. This form of competition was introduced following the success of the 2003 World Archery Championships in New York and the 2004 Summer Olympics with the intent of making the sport more popular and attractive to spectators, with the matches being held in 'spectacular' locations and the final matches being broadcast online. It has received plaudits for its innovative approach to the sport, raising its profile and reach.
The girls' individual archery event at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 18 to 20 August 2010 at the Kallang Field in Kallang, Singapore. It was one of three recurve archery events which comprised the archery programme at the inaugural Summer Youth Olympics, and featured thirty-one archers from thirty-one countries. Entry was open to female archers born between 1 January 1992 and 31 December 1993.
Denmark participated in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore.
Gregor Rajh is a Slovenian archer who participated at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. He finished fourth in the boys' event, losing to Bolot Tsybzhitov of Russia in the bronze medal match. He paired up with Zoi Paraskevopoulou of Greece to win silver in the mixed team event, losing to Gloria Filippi and Anton Karoukin in the gold medal match.
Kwak Ye-Ji is a South Korean archer who participated at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. She won the gold medal in the girls' event, defeating Tan Ya-Ting of Chinese Taipei in the final. In the ranking rounds, she had fired a score of 670, a new junior world record. Kwak also won the women's recurve event at the 2009 FITA Archery World Cup.
Tan Ya-ting is an archer who represents Chinese Taipei. She is a three-time Olympian, having participated at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics and the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. She has additionally competed in the World Archery Championships and the Archery World Cup.
Abdul Dayyan bin Mohamed Jaffar is a Singaporean archer who participated at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in his home city. He was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the individual event by Gregor Rajh. He paired up with Begünhan Ünsal of Turkey and won bronze in the mixed team event.

Haryana Archery Association (HAA) is the state governing body of archery in Haryana. It is a non-profit, government funded organisation under the Archery Association of India. HAA is affiliated to Archery Association of India and Haryana Olympic Association. Its current president is Captain Abhimanyu Sindhu.
Archery at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games was held at the Kallang Cricket Field, in Kallang, Singapore from 10 to 14 June 2015. Five competitions will be held in men, women and mixed's recurve and in men, women and mixed's compound.
