Archery events were held at the 2023 National Games of India from 27 October 2023 to 04 November 2023 at Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi, Ponda. [1]

Kusuma Wardhani was an Indonesian archer. Together with Nurfitriyana Saiman and Lilies Handayani she won a team silver medal at the 1988 Olympics, bringing the first ever Olympic medal to Indonesia. In the 1980s, Wardhani won multiple medals in individual recurve events at the Southeast Asian Games. After retiring from competitions she headed the Education, Youth and Sports Office of Bali.

Lei Chien-ying is a Taiwanese archer. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she competed for her country in the women's team event and women's individual event. She also represented Chinese Taipei at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro winning a bronze medal in the women's team event, with Tan Ya-Ting and Lin Shih-Chia.
