Arkanoid: Doh It Again [lower-alpha 1] is a Super NES and Windows [1] game. It was first released by Taito in Japan on the Super Famicom and Windows, while Nintendo published the Super NES version in Australia, the US, and the UK. [2] It is the third installment in the Arkanoid series after the original 1986 arcade game and its sequel Arkanoid: Revenge of Doh.
The player controls a ship using either a standard controller or the Super NES Mouse. [3] Rounds are completed when all the color and silver blocks on the screen have been eliminated. Enemies enter from the doors at the top of the play area. Every eleven rounds a boss enemy will have to be fought. Some of the blocks contain power-ups that must be caught with the paddle to be used. [4] The game has a total of 99 levels, an edit mode in which users can create their own levels, power-ups, and two-player capabilities. [2]
Arkanoid: Doh It Again picks up five years after the events in Arkanoid , in which the spacecraft Vaus defeated DOH with its energy ball. In the 9th stardawn, Commander Therle writes a log entry recounting the defeat of DOH and stating that their search for a new home goes on.
On the 11th stardawn, the sensors of the interstellar ark Arkanoid pick up a stunning new Terra Class Planet and dispatch the Vaus to conduct colonization surveys. Vaus is warped by DOH, who is surrounding the planet and evidently seeking revenge.
After the player defeats the boss on round 33, Vaus escapes DOH's realm and returns to the Arkanoid, where it is now the 14th stardawn. The planet was only a hoax created by DOH. The same ending occurs after defeating the boss on round 66, destroying both the planet and the game credits again.
After defeating the final boss on round 99, time starts flowing backward. The Vaus escapes for a third time, but it's finally able to land on the planet, on the 13th stardawn. Commander Therle declares that they have found their long-sought home, but will not repeat the mistakes of the past, and humanity and environment would co-exist together. A TV screen appears, as the Commander states that DOH is "banished into oblivion." The Commander then ends his final entry and shuts off the TV.

Released at a time when interest in the Super NES had mostly waned, Arkanoid: Doh it Again was largely ignored by critics. The four reviewers of Electronic Gaming Monthly all considered it a worthy successor to the original Arkanoid (which they ranked as the 41st best console video game of all time just two months earlier [9] ), particularly approving of its large number of single-player levels and enjoyable multiplayer action in both competitive and cooperative forms, though some of them complained at the recycling of bosses. [3] Nintendo Power likewise applauded the multiplayer modes. [6]
Tetris Attack, also known as Panel de Pon in Japan, is a puzzle video game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. A Game Boy version was released a year later. In the game, the player must arrange matching colored blocks in vertical or horizontal rows to clear them. The blocks steadily rise towards the top of the playfield, with new blocks being added at the bottom. Several gameplay modes are present, including a time attack and multiplayer mode.

Arkanoid Returns is an arcade game released by Taito in February 1997 as part of the Arkanoid series. It is the fourth overall, and third to be released in arcades. The game was ported to the PlayStation later the same year, with an updated home release being released afterwards titled Arkanoid R 2000.
Bomberman '93 is a video game in the Bomberman series. It was released on the PC Engine on December 11, 1992 in Japan, with western TurboGrafx-16 releases following in 1993. The game was also re-released for PCs in 2002 alongside the TurboGrafx-16 version of Bomberman and Bomberman World as part of a compilation disc titled Bomberman Collection. The game was re-released for the Virtual Console, with full multiplayer capability intact, for Wii on November 21, 2006 in North America, December 8, 2006 in Europe, and July 6, 2007 in Australia. Break 'Em All, known as Brick 'Em All DS in Europe, is an Arkanoid clone released in 2005 for the Nintendo DS. The game features several single-player modes, as well as single-cart multiplayer for up to 8 players. The game utilized the system's touch screen to control the paddle, as well as activate power-ups. Power-Ups can be activated by pressing up on the D-Pad or by pressing the X Button.
Shien's Revenge is a 1994 rail shooter video game developed by Almanic Corporation and originally published by Dynamic Planning for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan and later in North America by Vic Tokai. In the game, players assume the role of the titular ninja to fight against monsters coming from a time portal in order to face against an entity known as Undertaker and rescue his companion Aska. Co-designed by Takashi Shichijo and mangaka Go Nagai, the title was created by most of the same team that worked on previous projects at Almanic such as E.V.O.: Search for Eden. It was met with mixed reception from critics since its release.
